Nice video but, it needed a guest appearance by a dog. A 2' x 3' towel is always handy. In a cold spot, you can pin it inside your shirt for insulation. Have fun. Good Luck, Rick

Never enough time or money - I have so many more on my list! But know I'm very lucky to get to travel as much as I do. :) Thank you, my friend - happy trails!

What about people with artificial knees or hips? We can hike, but rock scrambling or possible falls could be an issue.

Oh gosh, I don’t have any experience myself with that, but based on what you’ve said, I would say that most of this trail is pretty moderate without much scrambling or anything. But there were two spots that I can remember that may give you grief: the climb down from John Garner Pass which for me was extremely icy and steep (though if you went later in the season I imagine the ice would melt out and it would be much less treacherous) and the climb up to the Torres which was quite rocky. Perhaps another solution would be to hire a porter to lighten your load. I’m not sure of the details but I definitely saw them running down the trails with huge packs on their backs.

@@AudreyAdventures would trekking poles help? I’ve started using them on moderate walks and take a lot of the load.

@@forrestwhite8052 Oh I would think so! I swear by my trekking poles. They’ve saved me from many a fall and help me get an arm workout while hiking too!

@@AudreyAdventures I know they help me on walks on very steep climbs. But in rocky conditions I’m concerned. I used to love hiking and camping, but now have some concerns. You have inspired me to get back out. Just need to figure out how. I see you as a reliable resource .

@@forrestwhite8052 I'm not always the, uh, most graceful haha so the trekking poles definitely help me on rocky terrain! I don't think I would have gotten through the rocks of PA on the AT without them. :)
