@dbrad51972 жыл бұрын
I find that Instead of aiming for positivity it's better to learn to be content in all states of affairs. It's OK to feel all feelings and you shouldn't try to shut any out. Just know that they will pass in due course. Negativity, pain and discomfort should be interpreted as signs for action. There is no escaping the human condition you can just learn to not create more Un necessary suffering. I think that its more realistic than aiming for positivity. Also you don't learn when your winning, you really learn when times get hard. So make them an opportunity not a struggle!🖒

The difficult thing about self-improvement is distinguishing between traits of yours that are toxic, and traits of your that are simply shortcomings. Quite often, we live in a society that sees such things as interchangeable, giving not only false standards of perfection, but the expectation that literally everyone can achieve perfection. If any of the signs in this video relate to you, I have to be honest - you're not becoming a better person. You're becoming YOURSELF. The likelihood is, if this is the way you choose to deal with your traumas, you always had kindness in you, and you simply needed the right moment to bring that out. So congratulations are in order for many of you, in more ways than one.

It may sound crazy guys, but clean your room if it’s messy, and organize it! Don’t just shove things in drawers. The process of dedicating time to do it, committing to it, and recycling/donating what you don’t need anymore, is not also peaceful, but extremely cathartic. I felt so good about myself after doing it. And it made me want to find balance with areas of my life. It’s a great first step towards bettering yourself.

Maybe EVERYBODY uses some manipulative techniques to get a little more in life to go their own way. Maybe they (most of them anyway) just don't realize it, or even they hide from it. Maybe the worst and most destructive lies are the lies we tell ourselves to avoid our own responsibilities. AND maybe, just maybe, you're becoming more and more aware of all the moments you've used some technique or other to manipulate situations for your advantage. Maybe there really isn't an escape from being able to manipulate someone at some point, pretty much everywhere in life. SO what do we do about it? Maybe instead of the knee-jerk "Manipulation bad" response, we stop for a moment and ask ourselves "Why should I manipulate this situation or this person?"... If we think about it in terms of what we can get them to do for themselves, then maybe it's NOT so bad that we manipulated them. Maybe this power of manipulation CAN be used for someone else's good, too. Sometimes, it's not an act of pure evil that you manipulate someone. Just becoming self-aware enough to realize it's what you do, you've come farther than most. Accepting this about yourself also makes it become a part of you, and like your own hand is a part of you, YOU can now learn to control it. I'd hazard that there's still responsibility to be undertaken with it, but that this isn't for the worst. The fact you find it important enough to type out in the Comments and make an accountenance of it says you're better than that. ;o)

Ive made the mistake of allowing myself to be vulnerable with the wrong people so I stopped being vulnerable but that still didn't stop them so I learnt to be more selective. Still problems were unavoidable so I became vulnerable again but now I have a better understanding of what I need and my boundaries.

2 years ago, I was definitely struggling with hard times in to seeing my worth and everything with depression. In 2019, I was able to power through the depression and decided to change my ways during that summer. Fast forward to the end of 2020, and I've been growing A LOT this year especially after a harsh breakup I also had to go through earlier this year. Since then, Im proud to day that Ive been more curious about the world and taking interest in school, Im becoming more spiritual, and I love myself a lot more. I guess my point is I can relate to EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of those signs 💖

Thank you so much , from past few days I was feeling so lonely like why is it hard for me to talk to other people now , why I am becoming isolated but it’s just that I am becoming more self aware and trying to become a better person ! Removing non essential people from my life and doing the things which matters 💜

8 uncomfortable signs you are becoming a better person 1. You're self-aware 2. You are conscious of your affect on other people 3. You accept your shortcomings and mistakes 4. You are okay with being vulnerable around others 5. You find the actual causes of your problems 6. You're more selective with the people you spend time with 7. You make your own decisions 8. You ask more questions Haven't see anyone do it so i do it myself

When we step outside our comfort zone do we begin to truly change, grow, and transform. But stepping outside it is by definition uncomfortable!

1. Yes. Not always in a good way, but I am getting a better idea of who I am. 2. Sometimes, but not always. Understanding people doesn't come easily, but those close to me are aware of this and let me know, usually in a positive way, how I've affected them. Any negative examples are always short term and don't mean much. 3. Yes. YES! So much! 4. I'm working on it. It depends on why I'm vulnerable at the time and who I'm talking to. 5. I'm trying, but it's not very clear. One example of where I am figuring out the root of an issue is (deep breath) I have recently been talking with friends about how I'm turned off by shipping and "fresh" romances, yet am drawn to established couples. My current understanding is that I am drawn to the comforting support and stability of an established relationship and avoidant of the overwhelming excitement of a new relationship. 6. Yes. I've never been a seeker of popularity, but I am more selective of who I want to be around and when. Including deciding to have space from some friends during certain periods of time, especially if they're politically minded or in a "fresh"relationship. 7. Yes. 8. I've always been curious and enjoy learning. Funny thing is that sharing what I've learned tends to lend into more stimulating conversations.

Yes, all of these signs are presently happening to me right now and I'm so glad I'm growing up. Thanks for the video, Pysch2Go. I like the animation, it's so cute! Thank you also for adding korean subtitles, I'm not korean but I really appreciate it.💜💜💜

Life is a journey of learning and growing. From my teenage years and beyond I've been continuously searching for understanding of who and what I am. We each go at our own pace, and face our own failings and challenges. We each experience our dark times. I have bipolar mood disorder. I have had to deal with depression since my teen years. I was a teenager when I first thought about suicide. I only considered it momentarily, then I rejected it entirely. I promised myself and my God that no matter how bad I feel, or how terrible my life may look or feel, I would never deliberately end my life. I've experienced dark enough times that I fully understand and empathize with those who have committed suicide, or attempted it. I'm not sure how I got through some of those days and actually still did my job. I am currently doing well, and my moods are stable. I have also recently successfully dealt with the last of my emotional baggage. I'm now seeking my next goal or direction I need to pursue. Even though I'm 54 now, I'm still growing as a person. We should never stop learning. If you aren't learning and growing, then you're cheating yourself. No mater how much you hurt, no matter how terrible your life may seem, never give up. Fight to the bitter end if you have to. Life doesn't just suck, it is horrible, sometimes. Make something good of it. You can succeed. You can become a better person than you were before. You can look despair in the eyes and not blink. When you are at your weakest, you can find strength. Strive for it; fight for it.

Learning to be the best version of yourself is one of the hardest journeys that can last a life time. One thing that has help me to become the best person i can be is learning about myself, what works for me and what doesnt, what i like and what i dont like, what i need and what i dont need, how i learn, how i express myslef, How I act, How i think, how I cope, how I react in situations. My strengths and weaknesses, my insecurties and the things I am most proud of. These are some questions I have asked my self and leanred about my self. Self discovery has been one of the most helpful coping skills for my depression (yes I was properly diagnosed). Anyways even trying to answer one of these questiosn about your slef is progress!

Can you make one about “am I getting groomed?” Because one of my friends have been making me feel uncomfortable and does/says weird things. I told my friend and she said I might be getting groomed...
@lemonmorning18443 жыл бұрын
Hey there wholesome. It’s not wrong to cut things off with people that make you feel uncomfortable. Take it from me, people who don’t respect your boundaries can really hurt you mentally and spiritually in the long term. There are too many people in the world that will make you feel great, to spend even one minute with someone who makes you feel a little uneasy. It’s not just about feeling uncomfortable. But the uneasiness is an indicator, a sign, that something could be very wrong. It’s your body/spirit’s advance warning system alerting you of s possible danger to your wellbeing. Trust those feelings or yours and most important- ACT! Your human intuition will figure things out before our brain is able to make sense of things. Don’t walk, run! I mean it. Your life will be better and you will be safer without that influence in your life. There are consequences to every path and action. Don’t ignore the warning signs. You can do It!

Here is a link (below). This may or may not be helpful to you. It touches on how malevolent people will prey on naivety of malevolence, which having little experience in the world, limited education, and often a comparably happy childhood, is the state of most young people. Please also search what to do if you think you are being groomed. I hope you don’t ignore fixing the situation. Whatever happens in life you will carry the memories. Be active about avoiding and cutting off anyone who might be trying to use you. I really wish you the best. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZmukp2XaMeaaqM

Having loving people in your life does WONDERS for your mental health! I had to go with my back up plan for my 3rd year internship at Uni because of COVID (something local) - but the group of people is so wholesome that I’m gonna stay at that place for my Graduation internship as well! I love my friends! 🥺☺️😭🥰
