I applaud the poor sap game makers that had the grueling task to translate the story plots of these movies and turn them into a cohesive and playable game that will somehow appeal to the poor kids that couldn't afford an Atari or Nintendo.

I still have the first Indiana Jones and the Raiders game, a good one to play on a rainy summer day. I watched Starblazers too. Remember the one where they get the original ship from Earth? A sunken WWII Japanese flagship, I believe.

The Alien one looks pretty cool. Also I had a board game based on the board game from a movie as a kid in the 90’s, Jumanji. I remember being let down as a kid when I found out that the board game itself didn’t open like it did in the movie and wasn’t made of wood and the player pieces were just colored pawns rather than ones shaped like animals.

we mainly played either monopoly or clue or trivial pursuit or scrabble, i guess we didnt get many board games after video games were invented in the late 70s early 80s, so we got intellivision in the early 80s and played the masters of the universe video game, that was cool, we flew the wind raider before jumping out to do something, and got nintendo in the late 80s i guess i could have got one of these in the 80s i just didn't see them in the toy catalogs so i didn't know to ask for them i guess, and i always went to the action figure aisle in the toy store so i didn't focus on looking at board games
