Going after some 80's Dumble tones using the J. Rockett Audio Designs HRM (Hot Rubber Monkey)! The Hot Rubber Monkey emulates a Dumble Overdrive Special but with the HRM EQ mod.
This track was inspired by the late great Mike Casswell and Steve Farris from Mr. Mister!
The pedal is running straight into a clean amp. The way the "Fat" and "Treble" controls interact is very cool; perfect for fattening up single coils or, equally, scooping some of the low end out of humbuckers. A really useful feature for getting parts to sit in the track!
