I'm building a 61 that was the first truck I owned in 1984, considerably older now, I scared myself when I started back on it. I couldn't believe some of the things I did to it back then to be able to drive it. I got hooked when I was about 11 and I got a ride home in my brothers 61. It was raining and he nailed it, smoke and burning rubber every where and I was hooked!

Plate should be PORPLMR..nice build..I will tear down and build and old truck one day. Already built my 1st KZbin motor 5yrs ago and still runs strong with 4l80..funny thing is my neighbors told me the same thing when they saw me fitting that yoke to my driveshaft..I'm sure they thought it would never run let alone be reliable..good job sir..

750+ easily on a 565 M block. You kids need to learn yourselves on big blocks. A alcohol stroked 56X+ can easily pull 1000hp on an engine dyno. With those heads he's probably making it up high in the powerband.

@@angelmotorsportsyanez2135 The 8.1 "LS" usually isn't messed with due to the fact the heads are 3500 bucks a side. Stroked out and done right they're not that bad. There's really only a handful of guys using them just due to cost. It would be cheaper to build a LC9 LQ9 LM7 or LS1-LS7
