Aragorn, Legolas & Gimli ally with The King of the Dead to take on an alliance of Kings from the South. I take control of a HARAD in my first ever game against Leon who is using the RETURN OF THE KING Legendary Legion. The scenario is Assassination, it's 800 points and it's a blast.

@@twotreesgaming a friend of mine often plays The return of the king: It's a difficult legion to build, Aragorn and the King are a big toll on your total amount of points, Legolas is the only choice as an archer, Gimli is nice to have in combination with the elf, you need a banner for Aragorn since his rule works only on dead models, ... 800 points aren't enough 😅

what a fantastic game gents. so good to watch. serpent hoard is such a fun army for everyone to play through its high numbers, low defence and high killing power. the tactical insight through these games is such a great part to these reports. think that's a real edge you have in battle reports. I would have loved to have played this game and am very happy to have this one recorded to go back and rewatch again.

Agreed! There's a Betrayer-lead bow-heavy way to play which I'm not sure is super fun, but they're just so squishy! Really was a great game 😁

@@twotreesgaming I tend not to play betrayer bow armies with harad. It’s not overly fun for the opponent and isn’t very dynamic for the player. Abrakhan guard are a fun way to play harad

Capitalising this hard on the Suladan blunder was a big turn around for Leon. I was pretty impressed with how well the Dead were able to hold their wafer thin line for so long as well. I do think sending Gimli in and having him swinging at fools is the right choice in almost all circumstances. An enjoyable game!

Yeah that Suladan 2 roll for Fate made the game really, it was great fun. And I agree, I thought I'd have cracked through them much quicker!
