Back when A&E was... what it used to stand for! It was also cool to see an ad for Sniper! It was on quite a bit on the WABC late movie later in the 90s. Then they showed the trilogy one night on Spike TV in 2007 but I still enjoyed just the original. ONE SHOT, ONE KILL.

NyQuil LiquiCaps- I remember seeing this commercial as a kid and I thought that the NyQuil LiquiCaps had liquid inside of them, moving like ocean waves like at 5:24.

Pizza Hut-music at the beginning was a sample from the score for Excalibur(1981) Almost Home-r.i.p Brittany Murphy Seinfeld Commercial Bumper-apparently captured as Jerry was ending his routine Used People-poor kid at @2:30 will be forever scarred for life Diet Coke-"What do you call a surfing pastor,a surgeon who's a part-time sculptor,and a motorcycle racing insurance agent..? A Different World-episode falls into the "She Cleans Up Nicely" category on TV Tropes Sniper-good film...the most recent one in the series,Sniper:The Last Stand,is so-so(looks like a video game adaptation)

The score for "Excalibur" is basically a collection of adapted classical pieces, mostly by Wagner. The piece in question is "Siegfried's Funeral Music" from "Die Götterdämmerung" composed by Wagner in 1876: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWbdf3tsh5atqac It is not original to the film, nor should it be attributed as such.

Homicide was good when compared to its contemporaries, but The Wire is FAR superior with it's depiction of the politics of law enforcement. Homicide was still good tho especially compared to Law & Order which had very simplistic politics and often glossed over nuances. In fact I thought it was a insult that they had a crossover with Homicide since both shows had VASTLY different sensibilities lol.

Homicide had to work within the confines of Network TV and was basically under the threat of cancellation during its entire run due to low ratings.

​@@80sCommercialVault Sure, But even The Wire had the same issue and it was on HBO. I always assumed that the subject matter was just too grim and downbeat. I especially thought season 4 was brutally heartbreaking. But David Simon really understood the assignment ngl.
