The 7-Up spot commercials are classics. Brings me back to my childhood. Thanks for uploading.

Lucky to be a kid back then when a lot of TV content was geared towards kids, so many cartoon specials for the holidays

I entered Middle School and the sixth grade in 89, and volunteered to write for the school paper. The editor put me on as a film critic, and asked me if I had seen The Land Before Time, as he had seen it on video with his kid recently. I had, and he wanted it to be my first review, along with Tim Burton’s Batman. It was the also the start of my career as a film critic, as from 2005 to last year, I ran a personal movie review blog. Never made any money, just did it for my love of film. I wound up writing over 2,200 reviews of films I saw in theaters during that 18 year period. Now I’m making strides to being a screenwriter, so maybe people will one day critique my work like I did for so long.

Never knew there was a Max plushie from Little Mermaid. I remember department store chains always did stuffed toys for major animated releases at the time. Sears sold Fievel plushies for the release of An American Tail, as well as Oliver and Company toys a couple years later. And J.C. Penney’s had Land Before Time dolls.

9:24 - Huh. Never thought I would see Alex Trebek wearing spandex and trying to escape from handcuffs.
