It’s such a joy observing the progress of Martijn’s work that it’s easy to forget the superb production values of his videos. Seeing Martijn walk into the shot at the top of the mountain, take some breaths, then carry on walking of the care taken to set up each shot, and to take us on the journey with him. The drone shots add size and scale, as they are cut seamlessly into the narrative. All this for a few moments in the video, and demonstrating the care taken. Superb work Martijn - please continue sharing the joy with us.

Another glorious Sunday morning with Martijn. This beautiful and equanimous man continues to mesmerize the lives of half a million people. He has shown us his strength of character by cycling fearlessly through foreign countries for three years, in contradiction to the philosphy that fear can be overcome with big trucks and an arsenal of weapons. He holds us in captivation while he allows us to sneak a peek at his solitary and minimalist life in the Italian Alps, while most of us try to survive in a chaotic and material driven existence. Although he is fortunate to have an advantageous foundation in a progressive country, strong family unit, education and profession, he continues to search for ways to reach out and inspire the lives of others. We love you Martijn !!!

Sunday’s when I was much younger was a day of rest in the USA, until everything changed and the hustle and bustle of the week extended into Sunday. Your channel brings the calm, reflective, inspirational mood back to my Sundays. Your photography, drone shots, filming, editing is nothing short of spectacular. When you were climbing that mountain it was breathtaking and heavenly. The sound of the cowbells adds to the gentle tranquility of your videos. By the way, your grass has grown in to be thick, and so very emerald green and compliments the beautiful stone of the buildings. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.

Just to be sure the load is secure.

All grande! Cinematography is explosively beautiful and thoughtful. I enjoyed your eyes on the lad from the Netherlands departing on his bike tour! I sensed the thoughts! Those years in the saddle and those mornings of your own departures with gentle kindness. You are inspiring and inspirational and just a joy Martijn!😊

I bought both your books! Fantastic! Makes my five moth tours seem so small in relation. Looking forward to a fifth tour next summer with emphasis on France and Italy for the first grande tour bike race in Italy and then the Tour de France! Nice time to be departing the USA about then nationalism in a very evil way is heating up quickly here with bat shit lunacy even now. Not ok anymore to even attempt to live here as the Feds have the marine corp and will end it all in an hour on the next maga takedown of our democracy.

Thank you so much for the new episode. Today I saw new mountains - harsh, but stunning in their beauty. You are very lucky, Martijn, with the guys - they are all hardworking and responsible. It's amazing how the house has been transformed from the inside, looks like a castle. There is still a lot of work, so take care of yourself, Martijn, strength, patience and good luck next week.

With cutting those beams, I would be checking the those corners high and low for square. That is a lot of weight on the roof putting pressure on those walls. I mean what’s done is done, but that would make me hella nervous. I would have left the first beam you removed in and built boxes for storage and wall for shelves for books and mementos. I mean you don’t really need a meter wide set of stairs. It’s still very interesting to to observe and follow. I just want you to be safe. Cheers.

24:24 I couldn't help but imagine an exceptional soundscape at this very point; and now it's obvious that #Martijn #Doolaard is with epic soundscapes - already. It is simply incredible to register such a landscape artist (who films phenomenally). In - for example - four years, a great team of Martijn Doolaard will assemble around the Dutch star: The team goes through absolutely all film material and builds together an unimaginable film adaptation = a small thought that crossed my mind. With an artistic greeting from old Norway (LIKE THIS COMMENT).

This is not a spoiler at all, but it's a good thought - which crossed the mind's happy days (need zero comments).

Watching this week's program and the amazing mountain hike photography makes you feel it's great to be alive and living on such a beautiful planet. Chickens coming good and your newly sown 'green' grass were added bonuses.

I agree. But I wouldn’t use luck or “afortunado.” I’d he’s incredibly knowledgeable, persistent, creative, hard-working, and oh so many other things.
