Omg! Once an ex and I broke up because he told me about some road rage he had that day where he actually got out of the car. The other guy drove away and my at the time bf was like “good, cause otherwise I would have broken his kneecaps.” When I questioned the stupidity of what he was saying, he stopped talking to me and we didn’t talk for days. We then broke up. lol. I was so sad at the time but now I’m like wtf what a freak.

Thank you for talking about female friendships and envy. I’ve been dealing with envy from women all my life. It negatively impacted and shaped me. Two years ago I fell into a deep depression because of an older woman that I thought was mine and my mother’s friend but she was envious of me and my relationship with my now husband. It was the best time of my life, my dreams were coming true yet I couldn’t feel happiness I felt so empty. I’m starting to be happy now even though I don’t trust women and I cannot see myself being friends with women yet but I trust God’s timing.

just a reminder that in Switzerland, if a car doesnt stop for a pedestrian they will get a ticket. With that being the Law, everyone crosses the road without looking both ways and completely rule the road. Everybody stops, its just their right to walk.

Now you know what it’s like to be a pretty girl. Doesn’t matter how nice you are (ppl will say your fake) doesn’t matter who you date (you’ll always be a “man stealer” who dates everyone) doesn’t matter what you do……… your either a star or your not, and the ones who don’t shine as bright want your light no matter what. They will go against morals/standards/etc to get to the top. I was a very beautiful girl who was bubbly and down to earth so I had a lot of friends. But man it also came with a lot of haters. Now that I’m in my 30’s, my best friend of 20 years couldn’t contain it anymore and she became so jealous of me, she started mimicking me/copying my style/starting buying everything I said I liked…….. I didn’t react. And she couldn’t stand it. Eventually she went off on me and we aren’t friends anymore. She couldn’t contain her jealousy and it turned into hatred. So trust me being pretty and well liked isn’t always easy bc ppl always want to take your light away from you, and to corrupt your goodness so they can watch you fall. So now my best friend is my Belgian shepherd and I’m cool with that

Is there any reason why don't you guys cover other non-white countries like Brazil, Mexico or Argentina? Also, the Habibi season was sooo good. I can recall u guys talking about Sweden and UK... TBH I'm feeling kinda weird not seeing your reviews of those seasons/countries when they have such great content (Habibi was better than DC IMO). As women in colour, you should recognize ALL colours, not only the white-passing ones.

Maybe it's because those other countries are subtitled or dubbed? I know other content creators don't want to review shows that aren't in English because often it's not done well and hard to judge someone's character that way. The Sweden season everyone loved and it was done well, on par with the UK production.

@@joanna0988I speak Spanish and watched it with English subtitles (mostly because of slang) and found that the captions were pretty on point. I do not speak Arabic but I can say that the translations made it easy to follow. I am a fair-skinned Latina, so I know that people from Latinamerica come in all kinds of colours (and some even have diverse backgrounds and cultures). I am genuinely curious to know why they review some countries and leave behind others.
