86 Ford f150 with fresh 95 mustang GT 5.0 motor FOR SALE !!!

the truck is my daily driver truck came a inline 6 but was swapped for a 1995 mustang gt roller motor swapped to carb has auto light 2 barrel polished heads small cam and flat top Pistons new radiator new power steering pump new water pump runs strong. Has a tod 4 speed transmission 3 with over drive new rear end with 3:55 gears 75% tread on tires on front rear tires have about 50% tread 15x8 steel procomp wheels removed helper spring in rear and 2in drop shackles 20% window tint on sides 5% on back glass bucket seats and center console from a 1986 bronco red led halo headlights 6k hids I have factory head lights red led dash lights red lights under dash led pods on front bumper tach changes colors and has adjustable shift light comes without radio new battery new starter new u joints new fuel pump new oil pump all guages work all lights work. Exhaust done by caldwells in Manchester true dual no cats flowmasters super 10 series and need weather trim around Windows ... have purchased them just not put on yet .. also just installed headers and new valve covers !!!

I have one too. Mine is an 83 F100 v8 5.0l 2barrel carb. Only 140HP but it feels like 200. It's peppy. under restoration right now but still drivable.

Should repaint it. Remember, RUST never stops eating the metal away. Starts as surface but then it will flake off and end up with big holes. Mine did just that . Now i replaced rockers, outer floor boards , floor pans and both cab corners. All do to rust. Next i'm removing the cab and get the frame sand blasted and repainted. Then put all back together and repaint including step side box. Nice truck otherwise . keep it running. BTW mine is a 83 F100 5.0L v8 2 barrel carb. original engine 164k miles.

5.0 never where made for power they was made for longevity

@@donttreadonme2235 yep I got the 5.0 in my 95 f150 an it does great unloaded and it's very fast. I run my own scrap metal business and when hooked to 6,400+ pounds it has no power 🔋. It has 3.08 gears in the rear an I'm goin to change to 4.11 to help when towing.

@@speeedy95 I have a 95 f150 with a 5.0 5speed. It has a 4.10 limited slip. I've pulled car trailers and never had a problem. With the shorter gears it does get worse gas mileage. Around 11 city and 14 highway.

@@donttreadonme2235 mine has the 4r70w auto an 3.08 gears open diff. It came factory with 3.55 posi rear but original owner swapped for some reason. I've towed cars with it a couple hundred miles to wherever they had to go. But whether I'm hauling cars or scrap you get around 6,400 pounds behind it and it struggles even in tow mode it keeps gear hunting. You have to go full throttle to climb hills. I put long tube headers on an that helped the low end power I also true dual straight piped the exhaust which gave it another power boost an boosted mpg from 10 to 16.5 unloaded. Next on my list is a cam swap an put 4.11 or lower in the rear with a Detroit locker.
