Yeah, people don't realize by the time you swap, get decent heads etc. .you can use a 351 or even dart block to make a high hp setup for low cost...well relative low cost....but instead of ls which if you just drop a junkyard motor in without added good parts still limited to 1000hp or 1100hp whatever it is.

I wonder if you needed to drive the vacuum pump faster / smaller pulley to keep up with engine blow-by. I see the pulley on the pump is fairly large. Awesome car / build!

@@go46ball I have my new 363 in now too. I regret going with a hyd roller. It’s 10.1:1. T trim E85 Holley efi. AFR 205, r box. meth inj. Dyno next month, hopefully it does okay. I will change things up if not. You make more power on 5lbs than I do on 15 I bet.

I had a 383 sbf with a novi 2000 that had problems blowing the oil out. I ended up running lines from my valve covers to my headers and that cured my problems. Its a crankcase evac. system. Anyways you might check it out.

Why are you ditching the vacuum pump? Was it pulling too much vacuum? You can be tune them through pulleys and bleed valves.

Car made the same power with and w/o it. We did shim the valve to play with vacuum. At this power level it did not care if it was on the car or not.

What 88mm are you running? Putting together a single turbo 363 sbf with afr 220 heads and a solid roller.

Its a Work turbo 88. Reworked Garrett.. Closest turbo is a gt4788 with a .96 housing.

It's yours for $175 with the pully. I think the pump is like $700 new. It could use new vanes, and that rebuild kit is like $150 so you still come out crazy ahead. You can have the bracket to mount it to the head too if you want it (I'm sure that was not cheap) Shoot me a note on Instagram.
