Wow! I did not expect that. I'd be really curious to see how similar manifolds compared to the Victor. Externally, it doesn't look much different from the stock intake. There isn't that much room to play with inside either. Seems likely that the other aftermarket options would give similar performance. I've just started working on a twin-turbo 351W. I'm not looking to make near that kind of power so I might even be happy with a stock truck intake.

Victor EFI 5.0 .....All the way. Best making hp manifold on the planet. 450 dynos with every intake seen on the planet.....the Victor EFI 5.0 ....destroys everything....period.

Cool video. Not a fan of the other shows that are sponsored by the aftermarket industry. Their parts usually don't fit/function as well as oe style parts.

Seems like most turbo setups like to have some runner length on them. Very common results I have seen over several years. Reminds me of the old bread box intakes for the 5.0W back in the day. Longer runner manifolds seemed to always beat the bread box when you consider the area under the curve.

All that and only a difference of 50 to mabey 57 torque.? And im just guessing? And a little less than a hundred HP? again guessing, cause factors of camshaft size, duration lift, and exhaust? Head flow, compression, valve size turbo size, i can go on!! Remember small block 302 stroker to 363 cubic in. small chamber small valves etc. head flow is crucial with all that AIR being forced in those chambers so building power is a matter of using (all the right parts that fit together) to make the MOST horsepower!!! Not the biggest or smallest, Blue printing is at the utmost importance here, RIGHT?

wow the victor 5.0 did pretty good, I wonder with the victor if it had max welding and porting if the higher flow and bigger MCSA would let it make more peak HP but keep the good torque from the long runners??

Oh they had a 1 inch spacer on the victor that would have helped it make more torque down low, and its interesting that they both make peak HP at the exact same spot, but the super vic has duel peaks

Interesting I have a similar engine Dart 363 I'm changing to either Turbo or SC.There are too many conflicting reports from reputable sources on what intake is the best, TFR R 90mm, SV, Victor, Holly and so on. Makes choosing a real PTA it really comes down to what your wanting to do with the car. Like I said car currently has Dart 363 N/A TFS R all forged of course with high compression so I'm swapping parts to lower compression to allow for boost. Currently it's a street beast and I'd like to keep it streetable but, also a kick ass ride down the 1/4 mile. Suggestions on not just what boost pusher you'd use but any internals you'd recommend (brand wise) would be awesome. Thanks for a great video

Glad i came across this video. Thanks for producing it. I have a 408 with the Victor EFI 9.5 deck version and thought about a Super Victor but not anymore. I am looking at boosting in the future with a Novi 2k or Vortech T or YSI.
