It’s the little things, or not so little things in what you do Marc, terrific attention to detail and care taken at every stage. Cap doffed as always mate.

Hi Marc, great job you're doing there! Closing panels and scuttle, all looking good...a proper job with painting those hidden bits, but will aid with longevity! Great stuff 😊

Great job Mark, I applaud you for the cavity painting in body-color. It must add a fair amount of time and expense. I tend to just cavity paint in whatever I have going spare!
@SimpsonsClassics2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Keith, I know it’s not for everyone but it will be interesting to see how it lasts. Yes definitely some extra time for prep. And a few rattle cans from Halfords. Time will tell if it’s worth my while. But for now it looks pretty and and it’s a nice feeling to know it’s painted. Thanks for watching 👍

Can i ask a bit of advise, looking to get new shock absorbers for my mini and a new clutch as well as the engine is out of the car so it will be a good time to do it. Any recommendations for both?
@SimpsonsClassics2 жыл бұрын
Yeah not worries, shock wise all depends on what you want from the car I use KYB gas self adjust one on most my cars cars they are good daily shock and provide a nice ride. If you want something more sporty I would say spax are the the ones you want loads of different ones from them available. Clutch wise again depends what you want from the engine but a Borg & beck is a good one for a standard set up.
