Used a fuel line after wasting tons of time trying to find a new overflow hose. Thanks for making this video! Honestly needed this video months ago. If you rename this...replace your clogged overflow hose on a k1500 I am sure it will get more hits. Or at least it solved my constantly collapsing upper radiator hose issue.

Suuuuper important to regular flush and back flush both front AND rear heater (if your vehicle has rear heater). You will be shock at how much rusty comes out if your system has been neglected

I wonder if the truck had that orange dexcool at some point? That will cause that and also cause the milky shake looking stuff in the radiator and can scare you into thinking you have a blown gasket.

It absolutely had the orange dexcool at some point.😐 This truck was very neglected when I got it
@austinreeves91129 ай бұрын
@@MaqsVids that was the issue then lol, that junk will sludge a system like no other. I saved your videos and I took my radiator out like you did in your other video, it's sitting and waiting for me to have time to get to it but I'm going to individually flush the whole system.

so you where just feeling up with water running it and draining till it got clean with water???
@MaqsVids7 ай бұрын
Yes it took forever. This was after flushing it and then running it with coolant flush solution.

Hey maq, It’s been sometime since I’ve done my rad. You fill one gallon prior to start up, turn on therma, and fill till it’s about to the top, then close? Reminder in overfill?
@jimmie93x5 ай бұрын
Hey there! Just bought myself a '90 a couple months ago! Just curious how many times you ended up flushing before it was mostly clear? And maybe this is a dumb question, but im assuming you let the truck cool down conpletely before you attempted to drain the fluid?😊
