I started watching this channel for the "scale" part and now I don't care what it's about I'm going to watch it. I feel like I learned something almost every video that you put out and yes the running videos are always evolving and getting better. I will always watch this channel for the much needed scale building tips, tricks and how to content but it's a good break from that whenever you put out a bash or dash type of video. Thanks for explaining things the way you do and always upping the scale side of the hobby. Go SBG! Loyal member since forever ago

Matt I appreciate your style of basher rc reviews because it's not what a lot of other hype beast rc channels are doing. What you do is a realistic "can I take this rig out and have a good time with it" where as these other guys are "let me send this thing as hard as I can until it breaks and then criticize it for breaking". I enjoy the perspective of bashing while still respecting your rig, because for every KZbinr it's "here guy please review this" but for your subs and any other person watching it's a whole investment.

Got a chuckle from the start... I thought that was a unique way of putting it - 223 ( 2 to 3) kinda wish I had waited to get one. For me, I think it was 23 MPH seen people get on the first version, would be good but if I decide to bump it up it will take modification instead of deciding to put in the 2s or a 3s. Do like the shade of blue they went with.. wouldn't mind having a body painted with that blue on the first version.

@imthejaybird5 күн бұрын
Mic audio quality sounds good. Only observation is that when you turn your head(like when you picked up the box and turned to the camera) the volume changes. Probably not a huge issue, but something I noticed. I feel like the shotgun mic is more natural to your studio and the sounds in it because it’s what my ears might hear if I were in that space vs the specific sounds the lapel mic catches. I’ve done live audio mixing before and lapel mics are always problematic in the scenarios I mentioned. I am in the market for a Mojave, so I’m here for the run videos and reviews of these types of trucks. I like the snow roosts, super cool to watch!
@scalebuildersguild5 күн бұрын
Thanks for the feedback my friend! The boom mic has been put back in the studio. Shame, I was hoping this new solution was going to work, but it might have to get exchanged for something else. You're in luck I've got all three Mojave's!

I’m looking forward to your thoughts on the Mojave’s. I like the 4s, but trying to decide if I want to scrounge up some more for the 6s. Is the 6 too big? 🤷🏼♂️
@boduke94282 күн бұрын
@@imthejaybirdI have all 4 of them and you can't go wrong with the 4s or 6s. The 6s is bigger and that size and weight give it a more realistic looking driving experience in my opinion. The 4s is quite a bit lighter and it shows when you're getting big air. It'll actually pull backflips. The 6s is faster if top speed matters. Both are big, tough, fun trucks. You can actually get the 6s version off Ali Express for less than the 4s cost. The shipping is just a couple days also so don't let price decide for you. Either way you'll get a great truck.

Beautiful camera work and editing. Most of the slides end up with the truck rotating nearly 180 degrees at the end. Did you find that it was hard to keep the truck from over-rotating? I'm interested in these, but am concerned that it, like nearly all mid-motor 2WDs, lacks rear traction in loose conditions.

The snow was just the right depth to offer less than optimal traction, but I’d say it would be a lot easier to control if I was driving with two hands and not filming! It’s a great truck that tracks straight, and DSC helps a ton!
