For the past few weeks I'm checking my calorie count, I'm keeping my carbs, sugar & fat low but I'm eating at least 25g to 30g of protein with every meal & OMG I've never felt my body change like this before. I'm literally dropping lbs. I did keto several times over the years but all of that high fat did nothing for me. So to now try & keep my fat low feels really different. But it's actually working & dramatically. High protein is the way forward for me & thank you for your advice

Due to kidney disease I have to limit proteins. I try not to eat a lot of red meat. But you’re right there’s nothing that satisfies as fast as red meat. Once n a while I do crave it and fall off my diet. I actually try to keep my blood acidity level low, as acidly blood is hard on kidneys. Basically it’s higher in fruits and vegetables, and use the protein almost as a condiment. And avoid grains. I’ll have to look into where apple cider vinegar fits in.

@jjvirginvideos Жыл бұрын
Hello, The best time to take ACV is before your meals to help with digestion and blood sugar regulation. Also, taking ACV in the evening can help with better blood sugar levels the next morning. It's all about incorporating it into your daily routine in a way that feels good for you. Whether that's as a tangy addition to your salad dressing or a zesty kick in your smoothie, it's your call. Just keep it diluted and, if you're sipping it, you can use a straw to protect your smile. :) - Team JJ

I love green tea but it gives me heartburn. Is there anything that I can do to be able to drink it without the heartburn?
@jjvirginvideos Жыл бұрын
Green tea is a fantastic choice for its health benefits, but not so much if it's causing you discomfort. Caffeine can increase stomach acid, and even though green tea has less caffeine than coffee, it might still be enough to trigger heartburn in some people. You can try going for a lower-caffeine version or decaf to see if that helps. Also, steeping it for a shorter time can reduce the caffeine content. Another trick is to sip your green tea with a meal rather than on an empty stomach. This way, you're not giving that acid a chance to get too feisty. And remember, portion size matters - so instead of a big mug, maybe try a smaller cup to see how you fare. If you're still getting that burn, consider the temperature of your tea. Sometimes, very hot beverages can irritate your esophagus and be a trigger. Letting your tea cool to a warm temperature before drinking might just do the trick. Now, if you've tried all this and you're still getting heartburn, it might be time to look at what else is on your plate. Foods high in sugar and simple carbs can be bigger culprits in acid reflux than the actual coffee or tea. So, take a peek at your overall diet and see if there's anything else that might be contributing to your heartburn. We hope that helps! - Team JJ

Hi there! Incorporate compound movements like squats and lunges for your calves and thighs, and add high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to boost fat burning and insulin sensitivity. While spot reduction isn’t possible, these strategies will help you lose overall body fat, including around your stomach. Prioritize lean proteins, healthy fats, and plenty of veggies in your diet. Don’t forget to get enough sleep and manage stress to maintain hormone balance and reduce cortisol, which can contribute to belly fat. Hope this helps! -Team JJ
