You need to boost your metabolism. Just cutting beer out isn't enough. You should try ginger in your water. Going outside for walks in your neighborhood every day really help. It helped my girlfriend, it can help you, too.

depending on how long you were drinking, I can testify that it takes years and years for the damage to repair. Do not expect immediate results. Giving up alcohol is the single best thing you'll ever do for your health, not to mention adding years to your life. Sitting back and waiting doesn't work, you need to start exercising very modestly at first, and over time increase your workout, and do what you like to do to exercise, discover what works for you. For me its jogging, stationary bike, hiking, weight lifting, but not all on the same day. I stopped drinking 38 years ago, stopped smoking 48 years ago...hmmm...seems like yesterday heh. Adopt yourself into a Keto like diet, doesn't have to be 100%, do your best. Lower carbs, avoid sugar, no deep fried foods are the biggies.

Smoking,stress,taking life to seriously, and the absence of love and laughter that takes years of your life.
I consume ALL of the 9 foods we're meant to avoid. But in MODERATION. I also exercise regularly. I am NOT overweight, have normal blood pressure and my cholesterol level is fine. I'd rather die at 85 having enjoyed life with good food and drink than living til 100 eating only like a rabbit. Ugh.

I agree! And every time I use sugar (for my iced tea) I feel guilty! I also eat a lot of oatmeal with sugar. Someone told me to switch to stevia, although they told me I'd have to get used to it. I don't know!

I don’t eat any of them and haven’t for over 15 years. Went on a keto diet I did lose 4 inches around my waist but then it stalled. I have four more inches to go. By the way Diabetic should absolutely 100% NOT eat any of this!!

That’s nonsense. I became a type one diabetic as an adult from a virus. No sugar not even fruit. But when I bake keto desserts I do use Stevia. All the other fake sugars increase my blood sugar.

I used to be addicted to peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I’d buy the good peanut butter not the crap like skippy or Jiff and no sugar added jams. But I had to give it all up when I became type one diabetic from a virus.

I dont eat anything that is bad for me other than a little scoop of ice cream at night once in awhile. I eat clean and yet can’t lose the belly fat. I’m injured right now -and haven’t been active for 3 months -but still, with a super clean diet and water -no beer and little wine here and there -I’m overweight still. How can this be?

Well I went a whole year without pizza&beer&chocalate. I didn’t lose a pound?????!!!!But when I switched to OMAD & used only lectin free oils.I succeeded in going from 268Lbs ⤵️185 Lbs in 6 months ?????? & I still drink beer!!! So I’m calling Bullshit 🤨🤨🤨

The way I lost 40 pounds was by choosing a starvation diet with fake calories provided by vodka mixed with wine and then some whisky. To avoid health problems, I bought a bunch of amino acids and other food supplements. I am now gathering the courage to do it again and lose more weight. It is not easy, my doctor explained it to me, because your brain releases hormones according to your weight, so to speak one's brain dislikes weight loss.

Junk food and restaurant food in general is loaded with salt. It’s designed that way because it makes you drink more. Drinks are the highest profit products they sell. The salt makes you drink and the weight from the excess water etc is what makes you feel bloated and fat.
