Same here, originally I thought she was happy for me but whether it was lack of communication she just seemed to become resentful. The girl I've been talking to recently, at my new job , she about a yr older than me, she just comes across as genuine, she asks questions whenever we see each other and we get to speak more in person especially when we're on lunch. I'm usually very cautious, but I've actually just been able to talk as if it were anyone else, without feeling as though if I say too much, it will cone across this way. Let's see anyway 🤷🏽♂️

Girls don't know what they want half the time. As a man is attracted to a cute and submissive woman, women are attracted to men who are ambitious and put their purpose first. To me it seems like your ex was subconsciously testing you to see how you'd respond. You'd pass her test if you tell her "you know how I feel about you, but I'm on my mission in life". She'll be so turned on, she won't know what to do.

Stay away from passive aggressive girls. I talked to the girl and since my day is truly busy (not faking) whenever she would call I would text back and tell her I'd call back later and I did. She would never answer that same day but would call me back days or weeks later and this happened 2-3 times. What I realized is that she was punishing me for not answering when she wanted me to so she was basically saying I'd lose her if i didnt behave the way she wanted me to. Thank you for this pretty good list. I do have mixed feelings about the friends issue. While it is possible for a woman to too much of a loner, I have often run into the other extreme - a girl who can’t do anything alone and constantly has to be around others. The first sign of this is often in online dating profiles where every photo is a group photo. Girls like this can be needy and skeptical of introverted guys. Eventually the guy finds he can’t get her alone much because her friends always have to tag along. Also this probably means she won’t accept anything less than a big expensive wedding down the line.
@zyanyagarcia68412 жыл бұрын
I never thought about this, but I see your point. My ex was one of those. Anything fun or cute that we had planned somehow always ended being a group activity.
@randyvanvliet2262 жыл бұрын
A woman with too many female friends will be the sounding board for the girl seeing you to drop you. Guaranteed, women are using the hive mentality to disqualify every single man their friends don't like. The woman needs to make a choice between a bunch of female friends or you and a few female friends. Any other outcome is usually a failure.

After a traumatic relationship more than a decade ago, the relationships I’ve had were mostly superficial. I sought after physical and superficial qualities knowing it won’t last. Fixed all the issue both body and mind, and realized I need a lasting relationship. Met this girl I noticed her face and looks first but as I talked to her it’s her personal qualities and maturity (so far) that is her biggest seller. I’m trying not to fall head over heels because I want this to be a proper courtship because she’s seem like she’s worth it. I want to take time as she does which is awesome. Only thing I’m worried about is why she wasn’t copped by dudes yet despite having lots of keeper qualities ? 😂 I hate being suspicious but I gotta guard feelings if I’m gonna commit again.

"Only thing I’m worried about is why she wasn’t copped by dudes yet despite having lots of keeper qualities" - just ask her and listen closely to the answers. Who knows, could be a bunch of reasons? Great list Courtney. I would caution on the supportive one though. It's good to be supportive and have a woman that doesn't expect you to do everything but if she has to keep you on track she's going to lose attraction for you. Women want a guy that's a leader and takes charge and shows initiative. If she's constantly having to prod him then it's not going to go well for either of you. I can't reiterate enough how important communication skills are. You are 100% correct on this, yet many people (men and women) lack good communication skills. That said, if she's open to learning and can take instruction and constructive criticism then anyone can learn good communication skills.

My gf hits every one of these green flags in your video

A lot of excellent points that equally apply to men ! From my experience, these 3 things are huge flags to me as well: 1. Follows through on promises, no matter how small: if she brings up she likes to bake and says she'll bring you some cookies sometime, then a couple of weeks later she does. Or she checks out a youtube video you recommended. YES, that is so impressive it demonstrates both reliability and trust. I personally try my hardest to be this way because as a man I want to be seen as a sturdy foundation the people around be can always depend on. This green flag demonstrates genuine effort. 2. Open to learning: when she demonstrates curiosity in things she's not familiar with, or disagrees with. It shows being open minded and adaptable. Both excellent indicators of overall intelligence and maturity. This is the same type of person that's capable of listening in an argument even though they might strongly disagree with you. 3. Nurturing: Just as women like seeing men that are capable of love and affection, I think that preference is much strong for men towards women. Reason being is mothers take the lions share of work when it comes to raising offspring, so knowing you have a partner that will love your children is a huge green flag. Also I think all men can agree, just the simple act of bringing us food makes us grateful beyond words. Being nurturing is a feminine feature that's innately attractive to us. Men might not like to admit it, but we adore being looked after sometimes. If I'm on a date and the girl, unprompted, helps fix my collar, or takes an eyelash off my cheek, I can feel my heart melting.

THIS IS AMAZING ADVICE!!!! these are qualities that would really make for a GREAT Girl. I would just like to add one more: one who is NOT Easily Offended. If you say to a girl, "you look good today" and she replies back, "Oh! I didn't look good yesterday". too easily offended. If you tell her the Joke of the Blind Skunk that fell in Love with a Fart; and she is doesn't like the joke because tricking someone who is blind is terrible, or a skunk going blind is cruelty to animals, or Fart Jokes are too immature for her, etc... Great video as usual. I am dating such an angel that I knew she would show almost every green flag. Women that special are uplifting but challenging because someone similar wants to reflect that light and so I hold myself to a much higher standard since I have met her. If only life was simple. Everyone is different and has their own challenges no matter how sweet and kind they are so always be supportive and eventually you will find the match you were hoping for. Just realize it may take a very long time and do your best to be patient. That is how I am trying to live.

I wouldn't necessarily list points 5 (she has friends) and 6 (she's interdependent) as green flags, though they might be for some people. Personally, I prefer a fusional type of love where the two partners are sufficient to each other. The independent type is definitely not an option for people like me and the interdependent type might be acceptable, but certainly isn't ideal.

The biggest issue here: Where do you find them? Generally you hear "look at a library, look at a gym, look at a club you are in, volunteer somewhere, church, ect." I dont think a single woman I have met in my entire life, would feel comfortable being approached in any of those places. You rely on friends of friends to introduce you, or you go your own way. Pretty much end of story.
@JamesRDavenport3 жыл бұрын
Just throwing an idea out there, why don't you focus less on going to these places to meet the women, and instead think about who may already be there at the stuff you're already interested in who are dateable? I find that when you do new things angling to meet people it's like they can smell it, you come off desperate for friends/girlfriends. Instead, if you're already involved in the activity and already on good terms with a woman in the group, it's easier to try taking it further. You're less suspicious, and it's a natural progression. Make sense?
@gemini_10853 жыл бұрын
@@JamesRDavenport I don’t spend my time looking anymore, I gave up worrying about it frankly, I was simply making a point that this is the type of thing men are told to do to locate them. definitely. my younger sister is 18 and has no friends. people have always thought she was rude/anti social but she literally suffers with a lot of social anxiety and other issues. she is extremely introverted. she used to have one really close friend but that girl ended their friendship bc she didn't like that she was quiet and distant. the girl made it all about her and said my sister was too selfish to even communicate like a normal person, apparently my sister didn't "care" for her. but my sister would always tell me she was so happy she found a friend. I'm an elderly man of 64 and never been married or rarely been in a relationship, or dated. It's probably been 20 years since my last date. Your valued down to earth wisdom would benefit people of different time periods and different ages. I have slowly worked on myself for years to be a better person to others and myself. I am so much more healthy than I used to be. Your advice resonates so much because, in my opinion, and I could be wrong on this account, we need to get ourselves healthy and at our best before we seek a relationship for a significant other. I'm no longer interested or gave a desire to be in and relationship with a woman, but have healthy friendships and family that fills my up. Keep doing your work, for I know you are helping many. Especially the young men and women.😊
