It was really weird researching the atoll cause not much is known about it, but I wish I could visit there.

Palmyra was a Catalina flying boat base during WW2. Much equipment was abandoned there but has since been pilfered by scavengers. The reef was bombed in one place to allow access to the lagoon from the open sea. Very neat place.

Socotra hasn't been inhabited by man since 100 AD..... not! There are over 40,000 people living there now........ and it's part of Yemen and it's actually quite big!

Diego Garcia is a military base for Americans and the islanders were forced out from their own island. They are fighting for their right to go visit their with Britain but it’s a hard battle. There is no conspiracy over there nothing just its strategic. It’s was given in 1968 when Mauritius gained its independence. It forms part of our history.
