Shampooing twice has become as important to me as the double cleanse in my skin care routine. It makes such a huge difference.
@GlamGirlGabi2 жыл бұрын
It makes all the difference! That first shampoo hardly ever lathers and the second one is like BAM! I see so much weight in my client's hair sometimes and I just know it's a large part because they're just not washing well enough.

I stopped double shampooing decades ago because I was told that my hair is too fine and it would damage it. I just started shampooing twice again, and it really does make a difference! Thanks for this video, Gabi. I love your channel.

I have 52 yo dark Asian hair. It used to be so soft and shiny, now it is coarse and shedding. Im sure its from hormones and stress. I have been taking powder collagen but don’t notice much difference. I also installed a shower head filter to soften the water. I color my hair and try to use good quality products. I will definitely try the Necessaire products! Thank you for your channel and all the helpful tips, you are a sweetheart 😊

Hormones can create so much change in the hair. I have seen it in so many of my clients and things REALLY start to change after 50. It sounds like you are doing all of the right things. Do you blow your hair out? Blowing your hair out is one way to get the hair to look full and super shiny too. Products, tools and techniques! Thank you for taking the time to leave me feedback. It means a lot to me.

@@GlamGirlGabi hi Gabi...loads of appreciation from India❤️ your vdos are so helpful. In this vdo when you showed the application of conditioner, did you apply on the roots as well? I was told to apply conditioner 4 inches from the scalp. Plz enlighten me on that. Love from India😍

@@incredibleme8473 Hey! It depends on the hair type AND on the conditioner you are using. I have such frizzy hair that I use conditioner on my roots IF the conditioner is light. This conditioner doesn't leave my hair heavy so I was okay with it. If I am using a heavier conditioner, I always apply it about two inches from my roots.

Your recommendations have been a game changer for my fine sparse hair! The Kevin Murphy plumping wash changed my hair's life! Using the iRestore has grown back a TON of hair in my temples and hairline, and the Tymo blow-brush makes my poodle locks nice and smooth without damaging it. By the way - the iRestore calmed inflammation on my scalp and it is HUGELY noticeable - I used to have to wash my hair every single day, now I only wash it 2-3 times a week and my scalp isn't an oily mess! I thought to send you some photos if you'd have any interest in seeing just how much your youtube guidance has helped

The Necessaire ones look good, but I'm on the hunt for a chelating/clarifying option as well. I don't mind spending on quality, but I like to believe quality can come at a reasonable price too. Sorry i have a lot of questions... How often a week do you shampoo and condition your hair? how long do you keep the conditioner in for, and do you wash it out?? What temperature of water do you use? I have alopecia and wash with warm but do a final cold blast to smooth cuticles down as hair very frizzy. And when do you comb hair- before or after washing? I find my hair falls out in clumps when I use conditioner so I comb before shower, loads falls out but means also less fallout in the shower. I also find comb better than brush- and you? Thanks in advance!

Hey Maria! I am really glad that you enjoyed this video. Redkin is an excellent brand! Are you finding that you are enjoying the hair results that you are getting from using it? Sometimes when I forget my high quality shampoo and conditioner when I travel and I use the one in the hotel, my hair instantly looks horrible and all my highlights turn a weird brassy color (because it strips my toner out immediately). This is just so important even when people don't want to admit it. Quality doesn't HAVE to be expensive either.

I just found you (or your algorithm just found me?) but OMG could you get any stinking cuter?!?! I'm 54 and I either want you to be my younger sister or my best friend... I can't go the daughter route because that would make me feel waaay too old lol! And MY hair story: tomorrow I embrace my gray!! My stylist will add a head full of babylights and hopefully get them light enough to deposit silver so I can somewhat gracefully attempt the grow out from there with a salt and pepper look using my current dyed level 5.5🙏 I also have 4 different color depositing conditioners ready to go for the fade out...Guy Tang, Pravana, Keracolor, IGK. With that said, I'm sure 4 more will be in the future! (I'm a retired stylist so thank God I don't have to pay retail, yikes!) Anyway my hair is a natural curly frizz of a mess so I'll take many of your suggestions to the bank and use them during my grow out.....send prayers please, this is a mega step for me!!😊
