Something I wish people would talk more about is short hair care! When I shampoo my scalp it is impossible for me to avoid the ends of my hair. Same with conditioner. If I condition my ends there is no possible way to avoid my scalp.

My hair began shedding big time after a very stressfull time I went through. Consequently, I myself researched the net and decided to try a hair oil called litttleextra coocoonion & a comb made of neem wood. It really definitely worked. Now, my hair is lengthy, dense, dark hair which has grown down to my waist and cut off on three occasions after I began using it. Simple and effective. Also, just as good can be rubbing the scalp - it promotes hair growth. You only need to do this weekly. Before long, you will see new hair growing in.

Upon using Cocoonniion hair shampoo for more than a week, itself began to show better results than any other shampoo cleansers. Now, I’m experiencing no more hair fall problems and the smell is so pleasant and hair is developing steadily yet its at least working.

Yayy!! This video is so helpful and everything was explained so well❤️ I recently found out about double cleansing your hair and I didn't believe it until I tried it myself. I have an oily scalp with dry ends. My hair was losing its shine, volume and I noticed that if I washed my hair after 2 or 3 days, I would have more hair fall. Also, oiling my scalp would lead to hair fall. I realized that it must be because my hair follicles are clogged so I started reading more about hair care. Now, I do double cleanse with my hair upside down after every two days with a professional shampoo. I then apply conditioner only to the ends and rinse it extra 2 minutes. After that, I apply oil to the ends of my wet hair . I use a micro fiber towel and when my hair is 60% dry, I blow dry on the lowest heat setting. I have been doing this for more than a month now and I'm so happy with the results! I'm finally getting my silky and shiny hair back.

I live in a place with extremely hard water and then I’ve visited a place with extremely soft water. Without hesitation I’d take the soft water. I got significantly less buildup with soft water because when your water is exceedingly hard, the minerals just sit there and there are very few things that can actually get all that mineral buildup out of my hair (even when talking buildup in the plumbing systems)

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this! It was pleasantly surprising that I do my hair care correct! I was just following dermatologists' rule for double cleansing on the face & applied it to my haircare. Also, definitely have been shampooing, rinsing & even brushing my hair with my head upside down- I think this is partly because Japanese people have applied this method for centuries & my mom always recommended me to do this! (We are Japanese.) Lastly, I have applied conditioner to my hair by gently massaging it from the ends up & leaving it in. I don't use too much & I brush after drying it in a microfiber towel (Daiso!) about 40% dry (post-skin care & clothing or robe on to prevent hair products on my bare back skin- as I have acne prone skin)! I have had hair techs offer to buy my hair after cutting 12 inches off, back when wigs were made of real human hair! But, I usually donate my hair when I cut it 12 inches or more every 2 years! Thanks for posting this! Love the hair care videos! Please keep them coming!

Well this is the only biotin suplement that I found works and actually makes tiny hairs grows out. But the side effect is that you'll grow hairs everywhere else as well, so I started instead of 1 pill perday, I take 1 every other day. And then use hair tonic from some by me after washing. Well I would say my hair is not drastically changed but the falling stops, like a lot. And overall just be gentle, super duper gentle with your hair, I use nilon glove while washing too.

@@princessbre You might be surprised, if your hair is dry, coarse and curly that might mean you need to wash it more. It's counterintuitive but I suffered from horrifically dry, fine, 4a-4b hair with zero shine and it took me forever to come around to the conclusion that avoiding shampooing my hair properly meant I had so much buildup it was unreal. I mean when you think about it people with kinky curly hair use heavier products, so what happens when you just layer them on top of each other and don't clean them off? No matter what I put on my hair it was dry and awful and refused to respond to product. Late last year I threw caution to the wind and gave shampooing more frequently a try because my hair could not get any worse, it was just about starting fires on its own and it has improved a lot . Today I managed to shampoo, condition, finger detangle, leave in condition, oil and gel my hair in 50 MINUTES. 50. This is used to take me hours when I was washing my hair once a week or once every two weeks! I pulled out about 10 hairs total too. I know there is a whole thing of no oils no butter is going on right now, but personally I think you can still use them so long as you cleanse your hair correctly!

@Cheshire Waltz Bingo! I keep trying to tell black women this. Ms. Mississippi here on KZbin is proof of this and she uses grease! I use a pure silicone product instead of grease though and that's it.

I definitely gave myself dandruff as a teen. I would shower and 10pm and go straight to bed because I loved how wavy my hair would be. I have a lot of coarse hair so it would be curlier if I laid down so it did have to fight gravity but the back of my head would still be wet in the morning. My hair takes so long to dry. If I wash it and wear it down, even on a hot summer day, it takes hours to dry. Someone told be I must have damaged hair for it to take that long buy no, it was virgin hair, rarely blow dried, and only washed 2x a week. I tried a deep conditioning treatment and a hair oil but the dry time was still the same. I dont get this whole “let your hair dry 50percent thing. I don’t have 2 hours after I shower to finish fixing my hair. Now I leave in in a towel for 40 min add styling cream and then either blow dry the roots if im staying home or the whole thing if I’m leaving

Honestly, no curly hair girl should be taking advice from anyone with straight hair. A lot of research is not done on our hair. Follow the scientists on youtube with natural afro hair. They are plenty. Also, I absolutely wash my ends because of styling products. I don't understand this idea of not cleansing your ends when you're putting in leave in conditioners, gel, etc on your hair. Also, our hair has a completely different structure from straight and wavy hair. As in genuinely, our hair doesn't retain water much, and is far more susceptible to breakage. Double shampooing is something I only do after braids. I personally also don't put anything on my scalp. I stopped using oils because it was just clogging my scalp.
@marianne6373 Жыл бұрын
I suggested it because they don’t require extra hair washing, and I believe there are products made for people with type 3 or 4 hair too. But of course, ask a professional (Not random people on the internet.) they can help find the right solution for you.

You might enjoy content from black girl curls and other curl specialists! They specialize in reducing the effort of your routine and keeping your hair healthier than ever. I’m a cosmetology student (almost done!) and personally I’ll double cleanse if my client needs it, which varies on the products used. Please wash all your hair if you use products 😭. Same with conditioner, roots to ends but not scalp. Textured hair is textured all over not just ends. I’d also apply water based botanical products like foams or gels when hair is soaking wet and detangled. Then hover diffuse or hood dry for elongation or regular diffuse for more volume.

I don't think scalp care requires any special shampoo or exfoliants. It all has to do with 1.) Water 2.) Amount of heating you do to your hair 3.) The amount of products used in the hair. If you are someone that doesn't style your hair often like me the there is less damage for you to fix. I do agree with the right way to wash the hair but i don't think you need these products to get a clean healthy scalp. The nizoral and salicylic 2% shampoo along with the scalp scrubbing tools goes a long way and they are less than $10. Women in other countries such as India have long, thick, healthy hair and they don't use all these extra products or use any heat in their hair. When i moved to the states all my hair fell out. I blame the water and the climate.

I kept missing the back of my scalp and washing it once. I also was conditioning wrong and couldn’t figure out how to use it.

Are there any studies about only washing scalp and as you rinse it it cleanses your mids and ends too? I find this hard to believe.

And I do blast my roots before bed if I wash at night. If I can’t fully air dry I’ll use my Dyson.

I'm a guy trying to grow my wavy hair long. It's always limp, stringy, and frizzy after showering. I can't seem to wash it properly, no matter the type or amount of shampoo, how I massage it, or how long I rinse. I suppose my home's hard water is partially to blame. I wish I could care for my hair properly because it's really hurting my self-esteem.

I was the same way, what helped me was washing less and mainly using a creme/leave in conditioner. I personally use the Shea moisture hair masque before showering and just rinse it out and massage the roots really well. I do shampoo maybe once a week if I feel my hair getting oily

Recently my hair washing has been awful and i didn’t know why, I just chucked the shampoo on my head and it would dry immediately and then I’d put more and more on until my hair is completely disgusting. I’m gonna try this when I get home, I’ll let you all know what it did.

I think hard water is the worst because product wont lather and it wont clean your hair

It's so crazy how every expert says something different and they all have "science" behind it. It's such a joke. So many experts say, emulsifying shampoo in your hands is bad. Many others say, emulsifying shampoo is bad. Many say the nape of the neck should be last. Others say it should be first.

Because they are not scientists...graduating from the youtube academy doesn't make them a scientists 😂. They are just spreading misinformation. Like this woman!
