R.I.P. customer service and service industry workers. Imagine a situation where you have to absorb other people's abrasive toxicity all day long. Imagine having to do that to barely survive and take care of your family. Be kind and gentle to those. People who made your burger or bagged your groceries with a smile. People who took the security tag off that new shirt you love or who took your ticket at the movie theater back when theaters were safe places to congregate.

@@wawaperpe1600 Oh, that sounds rough. You might check out clinical trials. I think you'd be surprised how many are out there and also at how much caution they use. There's also a lot of educated and friendly people that go to these things. It's kind of a cool way to raise start up capital for a small business or the down payment for a house or car. I ran into a guy who was literally paying for a good deal of his college expenses this way. He wasn't a fool either. He was on like his sixth year of school to be a brain surgeon. The studies might pay anywhere from 2 to 3 thousand dollars a week but you have to qualify. You might check it out.

I used to have a phobia of death and thought about it everyday... but I have come to the conclusion that it is inevitable and you shouldn't be afraid because God has a plan for you in the eternal life... SO live your life and be happy while you can. Personally reading God's words and just being thankful for everything I have makes me feel better about everything... I don't know what make you happy but don't be too hard on yourself... but if you are religous I would recommend sitting down and just talking with God about everything and praying and ALL THE FEAR AND ANXIETY WILL GO AWAY!!! It worked for me and I know it will work for you too!!! It's okay to be scared but don't let it control you❤❤

I get how you feel. I would always get anxious and anxiety and intrusive thoughts that were negative and thought it was me so I would beat myself up about it too. But then I realized I am strong and God's mercy will help me. Please know you can do it and I truly believe in you. It's balancing between "Legitimate concerns" and "A stop-sign for a brain"... Mostly, try not to transplant your brain with a stop-sign. It's no good... and nothing happens when you just give up and quit... Legitimate concerns are legitimate (by definition)... Like the possibility that because I ride motorcycles AND because I'm human, I might fall off my bike sometime. That's a legitimate concern, but no reason for me to stop riding motorcycles... I buy and keep up with my gear, and I don't do anything "too stupid" on the road. I obey the general traffic flow, and keep my eyes out and trained to find the patterns of "stuff going wrong" as far as I can possibly see... That avoids a LOT of trouble that could cause me to fall off the bike... Having a stop-sign for a brain is just saying... "Damn! That's just too fast to be riding without any protection at all... I'm sticking to riding in the back of the bus and being small." Likewise, when I'm working on a project like nothing I've ever done before... say welding together an axle hitch for my bike to pull a trailer... Someone might point out that I've never done anything like that... BUT it's still just welding, and I HAVE welded before... SO I balance the concerns... I could screw up a weld and it could break off... SO I do a little extra engineering and make sure my welds aren't more critical to it than necessary... BUT at the end of the day, it's just a little trailer, so the worst I could do with it is ding someone's vehicle or lose it on a curve through someone's yard... More embarrassment than anything, and I have insurance... I'll test it. AND if I don't mess up my first try out of the figurative gate, how am I supposed to learn how to get it straightened out so I can do it on my own??? Someone else might want a cheap custom trailer hitch for their motorcycle... I could be useful (and even make money)... Don't give up... find a different angle if you can (and it's worth it)... BUT just don't give up. ;o)

Hehe- Maybe this explains why I hate all my friends- Long story short, all of my friends are positive and I'm the only negative one out of all of them and whenever I say something negative I find funny, they all give each other a side glance and do that awkward laugh or an awkward silence creeps over us. Tbh, I think if I got negative friends like me, I'd become more positive in the sense that I'd think I'm actually a likeable person, where as now, people make it seem as if I'm the only negative person out there and my opinion is weird and/or not important.

I refrained sharing everything with my mom. Whenever i say about cooking, sport, gym etc, her first response usually finding fault e.g. the soup looks oily, gym is not good, hiking not good for knee. I just dont feel like sharing everything. One day my partner shares something he wished to do for future job, and I commented, what if it's dangerous, what if you cant get regular income etc. He told me, I hope when i share something, you dont project your own overthinking and be so negative. I was taken aback. I'm doing what I dislike. It doesnt mean I refrain from talking my concern, I learn how to disagree in a healthier manner.

I've been having negative thoughts lately, I was rumitating about the past, over stuff that happened years ago, and it was eating me up. Us Human beings have a negativity bias and easy remember the negative, pessimism in our lives, but it's hard to remember the happy positive thoughts. We aren't meant to be living a life full of negativity, but it's hard, when the enviornment, the people you are around are negative. Keep on moving forward everyone here.

I just got home from a stressful day at work. All alone at one by mysef and just felt so lonely. I cried and have been crying off and on now. like ugh I just want a hug. Use to...I use to be like this pretty much everyday through my elementary to high school years. I relate to most, if not all, of them when I look back on those days. But currently I've been alot better, doing more and still achieving the same goals (Doing well in school, hanging out with friends, enjoying my alone time despite the situations, etc). The only thing that changed was my understanding as well as knowledge about myself. Going to therapy, journaling my daily thoughts, doing some sort of workout (like working in the daycare for 4-5 hours at minimum, walking, etc) and treating myself when I can/need made me who I am today; it allowed me to be human for once and know what I need in my life. So, despite the negative influences that I have to deal with on the daily, I know how to handle it if need be.

Maaan really feeling a good number of these, namely 4, 7, and 8, and a little bit of 2 even I was once super optimistic about everything, carefree of the world, and was once always the go-to person if you ever wanted to be brightened up on Not only that, really enjoyed and did my hobbies a lot. Times back then were truly glorious Nowadays, I’ve noticed I just have thrown myself into total loneliness, whole lots of isolation as a couple of friend groups I had (luckily not all) deteriorated into nothing although everyone was really fun to be around, not only that, I’m quite a people pleaser even if I’m not as interested to hang out with friends I once had so much fun with, I mean, I still have fun, but noticeably less so. They ask, I’ll join regardless, but I set up plenty of times where I just wanna sit and be alone Not only that, what hurts me the most of my past was just the lack of hobbies I really enjoyed, namely drawing, that was my jam, I was once real carefree with that as well, exploring more and more Now, it’s mainly irritating as I never have the motivation or creativity to draw, last good thing I drew and finished was 2 months ago and it’s eating me up that I haven’t done anything recently I really wanna do stuff, but I just can’t, I still get plenty of ideas that really seem fun to do as I thought them up, but nothing gives me the drive to sit up and pick up whatever to draw with Aaand quick edit right after I posted this XD Didn’t realize I accidentally vented all that, just wanted to get my current thoughts out somewhere

I really like the phrase "Practice makes better," because once "perfection" is achieved, what is left? "Better" seems a more reachable goal, and it suits my frame of mind. I have negativity that eats away at me. I am fully of hatred and anger because of shame and carrying a grudge. I refuse to get rid of my negativity because it makes me better myself. I don’t want my shame to diminish

Wow I really needed this video today so much I had a very bad yesterday and I couldn't stop blaming everyone else for not telling me important thing before hand and I was judging them in my mind for being bad people But I realise I should have been more alert and have learned how to talk with people in order to find out important things that no one otherwise tell you Its going to be difficult but it's not impossible And also I learned to stop thinking about why other would hurt me but think about how I can be more myself Also lastly I want to say Don't lose your kind heart in midst of walking a harsh path !

I've been consumed by negativity since I was 9 and I've been living with it for 20 years. What I hate the most is when people give me hope that everything will be okay and it always backfires. It's heard for someone like me to accept positive energy.

Thanks to the antics where I live, I’m stuck in online school. Again. And this time around it’s been a lot harder to become more motivated. Since last year, I’ve been a lot more of a social person, but this lockdown made me realize just how much I’d become dependent on social interaction. It all sucks - I don’t sleep well now (if at all), I’ve become a lot more nastier to others than I ever should have let myself become, and I don’t talk to any friends privately about my issues any more, for reasons I don’t understand. I’ve held the belief that I simply have to shove myself into this ocean of work, swim out of it and return in a few weeks, but I’m not handling it. I’m seriously not handling it. I haven’t watched Psych2Go in such a long time and I have to say, if I could only watch one YT channel for the rest of my days, it would be this one. This video and a few others just convinced me to at least try to see my situation in a different way. Thanks! I mean it.

I can totally relate to number 7 and 8. To motivate myself and stay motivated is really hard. Every time I think "I want to draw something," I lose the motivation before I can grab a pencil. First I thought that I’m just lazy but over the last two years it got worse and I don’t know what to do. Sometimes I can motivate myself a little bit thanks to my best friend but I didn’t talked to him for nearly a month now because I’m stupid.

I agree with the demotivation from hobbies one so much 😭 I write fanfic and stories as a hobby and for the last few months I was so demotivated from doing it. I have all these ideas in my head and I really want to write too but my mind wanders to other worries and problems and I get all upset and anxious with the negativity that I suddenly can't bring myself to continue writing. The last thing I want to do is project my problems onto a character so recently I got myself a nice journal app where I can vent to calm myself down🙃

Other than 2, 5, 6, 7. Everything else is a check. But what can I do about it. Can't do anything about it or, I actually don't plan to do anything to change it. I critic myself for the life choices I make which led up to how things are now for the past years. How could I not see it all as my fault. Makes me despise my existence and the negativity I probably bring to others sometimes. I just want to be independent and get away from them the soonest I can. Live alone, die alone. Full of regrets but hope they live happily and forget about me

Ah yes. This video literally describes me. I have many mood swings, though I hide how I feel cause my parents would just yell at me for being sad or angry [either for a reason or no reason] I'm always on my phone cause it's like my safe place. Like being wrapped in a blanket or just in my bed. And I do compare myself to others.. Discouraging thoughts is a daily for me.. from the moment I wake up, till I fall asleep [if I do sleep] And when do I feel anxious the most? .. 1. In my household.. [I'm a closeted non-binary/agender person and my parents are transphobic so they make so many negative comments about trans people...] 2. Getting dressed... [body dysphoria] 3. School... I know, sometimes I’ve let negativity get to me. and some of my friends went behind my back, well my bestie did I caught them talking bad about my friend on a game. it made me so emotional that night but I no longer have that so-called bestie. finally, out of my life now, I stick with friends who don’t talk behind my back. they even make me funny bone laugh all the time! and whenever they are having negativity thrown at them. I make that person go away from them

For me it is more of a literal situation - I can't go to the store or anywhere within my city without running into a rude or violent person. Just being there is more than enough for them to start yelling and reaching for something.

@@Psych2go I try my best to avoid them but sometimes, I have to defuse the situation as much as possible - one time it didn't work and I almost got attacked by a guy asking for some money so he can buy a cigerette while I was pumping gas. The man wasn't even poor or anything. In fact, he let it slip that he just didn't want to use his own money when he went back to his friend on the corner. Anyway, its because of that and other similar encounters I usually drive a city or two over where it is safer. I am alone so sometimes, I have to act cold if not apathetic to everyone just because here, people are always trying to scam you into something. Obviously, that isn't healthy in the long run but Its what I have to do. Its almost as if I am back in grade school again - bullies and gangs are everywhere, and those who you should turn to for help either don't do anything or even blame you for the reason why you were a victim. Honestly, just a lot going on. The pandemic certianly didn't help.

I think I'm doing ok. I lost a leg, and can barely walk on the other one. Use my food stamps to feed my three dogs. Can't stay awake without feeling anxiety lighting my brain on fire. No one wants to talk to me. People make fun of me if I do step outside. I cry everyday because I can't get even get angry anymore. But I am grateful. I have the bare essentials to just barely survive. If I can't walk, I will learn to crawl. People are suffering. I am not one of them. I mean, come on. I got three dogs. They need me. I mean, if that's not staying positive, I don't know what is.

As an INFJ, I know/feel theses positive and negative energies. That's why I try to avoid/dodge/escape them. Maybe that's why i feel better lonely. I know my mother is eating by these negativity signs, don't know what to do to help her. She could be able to tell me all is ok, whereas it is not. I think that she is not aware of the negativity that there is around her. Take care of yourself, of your mental health, and remember *" We are all different"*💚

I was exposed to negative effects of horrible ex and in laws and were nothing but negative people and draining no matter what I did i had to deal with it and I couldn't escape until I ended the relationship thankfully I stopped having physical symptoms
