We are not high maintenance, we value harmony...which makes us easy going. I only look for ENTP tomboys to date, they don't need an INFJ list of things to do or not to do, the compatibility is free spirited and fun. I do look for ENFP women too...it makes dating easier once we know which types to date...screen out the rest. So, I know I am highly valued as an INFJ man, and I can be patient when dating. ENTP and ENFP women makes dating so much easier, no work and all fun.

1. INFJs like to be alone even when in a relationship. 2. INFJs will never share all of their inner self. 3. INFJs are perfectly happy on their own so have little tolerance for those who are too clingy 4. Being around people drains the energy from an INFJ. 5. If you are one of the rare people that do not drain their energy they will appreciate you very much

True it is hard to get in with an INFJ, but if you did get their trust, you will get the surprise of your life. These people are wide readers and a font of information with lots of empathy and knowledge of problem solving in any area of life. They have very strict moral standards and perfectionism

I just wanna say: INFJs, you have your flaws, mainly the perfectionism and unwillingness to be vulnerable. If a person has spent 5 years with you and only you, and you still haven't opened up, then you're the problem! You have to work on that! Learn to overcome those anxieties. Consider other people, don't just think about yourself and what you want. Have empathy and put yourself in their shoes. And understand that people have flaws, including you. Don't look for perfectionism. Look for sincerity. Look for genuine affection & love.

Opening up for the sake of opening up is pointless; you might as well do it to a stone. Why open up to someone who you know will not listen, will judge, or will use it against you at the first opportunity? If you are in such a relationship, you describe, you are more likely than not acting as a potential well, trapping that poor soul by making the escape energy cost too high.

@@Grey-go9ur Relationships aren’t one side. If you don’t love the other person the way they love you, then don’t waste their time. Unless you’re a god damn vampire that’s out to suck people dry. BTW, I didn’t say to open up for the sake of opening up. I said to simply have empathy for others. That doesn’t mean sharing your life. Be fucking cordial, be considerate. You may attract people who will be as considerate towards you. Strong romantic love takes effort and time to grow. And it requires two people to share similar interest in loving and caring for each other with similar intensity.

@catlyana13 I am sorry if I offended you in any way. I'm just a random person on the internet, and there is no reason for you to care what I think. My comment was directed towards the example of a 5-year relationship in which an assumed INFJ had not opened up, and the statement that it was said INFJ who was the problem. My suggestion as to why he had not opened up was that he, in fact, would prefer not to be in that relationship, but the other person makes it too painful for him to leave. That's all

Did you ask about her? Did you put in effort to get to know her and what her love language was? Did you open up to her? There's a chance she didn't feel safe with you and she may have felt that the relationship was 1 sided emotionally.... there's a myriad of things.... it could also be that she may have been what's considered an immature INFJ who hasn't fully done the deeper work to understand why she was the way she was and even though we are very self-aware, there's a lot that's still undiscovered unless we've done the hard work.

Trying to figure out what they are “arguing” about, whether their laughs are genuine or fake, what they could be talking about, what they were told to say or behave like by the producer and so on. I'm infj personality , very deep person , deep thinkers , spiritual , I can read people really well, honest person and loyal. The infj people who are attuned who they are and their gifts can easily read others. Also a lot of infj are dimesexual person. I don't want any one night stand. Sex is not the same as intimacy with your partner. I'm sensitive person and emotional person. Maybe for others we are perfectionist but the truth is I don't want mediocre relationship. I'm 53 I know what I want in a relationship but sometimes we meet people in our life that is not matured mindset. So as 53 years old I don't want to waste my time dating mediocre man who don't know what they want in their lives or someone who date several woman at one time. Because when I date, I like to put my time on one man getting to know every thing about him. Also us infj we can see through people if they are lying, no need to lie to us because we pick up everything not only from your words, your energy, your messages, your body language and that is why they called us lie detector. As a 66 year old never married INFJ I agree with all of those points. I feel that women just don't understand INFJ men and probably prefer not to be with them. Around my age there are more men than women, so women seem to have an abundant choice as to be able to get what they want. I felt like, being as I am, I wasn't good enough against the competition, which was in abundance. I can't picture women meeting a typical INFJ man and then go on this video to try to understand them.

Pity you feel that way. I think INFJs are wonderfully unique. I have an INFJ friend, for the first time in my life I can be myself, say what I want without being judged. I am safe. Yes, you have a more difficult personality, but I think with a little understanding, you make the best partner ever. Don't change, don't feel depressed, someone out there will be your match. Just don't look for a perfect person, we other people are far from it... That being said, I am willing to learn more and become the best possible match for my friend. And that is not without effort, as I am an ISFJ
@breathingbutnotthatgreat Жыл бұрын
@@Elmika-cd5nn you're very sweet and your friend is also very lucky to have met you for sure. I was seeing an ENFP which I guess from all the people I saw in a romantic relationship kind of way, was the only one I ever liked. This person just came from a long relationship, like they were living together for few years, so I think he didn't have patience or just didn't like me enough, because honestly it takes me a lot of time to open up. Your patience is definitely part of why your friend is in your life right now and you have a kind of energy that makes your friend comfortable to stick around with you. I think the "perfect" that INFJs look for is a subjective kind of Perfect. For example, I'm looking for someone perfect for me, someone I can live Life together with. I don't say someone that have the same goals , more like similar, similar values that go along along side, that are not opposite from each other. I hate being INFJ. My therapist asked me if I'd want to become like other people and I said no. Because I cannot change who I am! I'd love to be a different person entirerly tho. Sometimes I want to be hella loveydovey but it's so hard to let these inner walls down.
