** Why Do We Hunt Hogs? **
Feral hogs are a non-native and invasive species in Texas. Each year hogs cause millions of dollars in damage in the form of damaged crops, contaminated water supplies, broken equipment, transmission of diseases and injury to livestock.
Feral hogs compete with native wildlife for resources and also prey directly on the eggs and young of ground nesting birds and will actively hunt small mammals, frogs, lizards and snakes.
Due to their intelligence, adaptability, and prolific breeding habits, traditional methods of hunting and trapping have been largely ineffective in reducing the feral hog population. The introduction of night vision and thermal optics has greatly increased landowners' ability to mitigate the destruction caused by feral hogs.
Feral swine are not considered game animals in Texas and may be hunted by any means or methods at any time of year.

I'm not gonna lie I'm always amazed at how crystal clear both night vision and thermal rifle scopes/headgear have become. This stuff is getting better and better every year. I think they are making thermal/night vision hybrid optics now which is really cool. I would LOVE to see those on this channel. Make no mistake though the human hand and the human mind are the deadliest weapons in the Universe. With our mind we devise any weapon and with our hands we engineer and wield any weapon. @@heg3074 Oh don't worry too much about that the exportation of this equipment is strictly prohibited to my knowledge. Also Night vision and thermal vision isn't exactly classified technology these days. The meat and potatoes of any military's infantry are rifles and machine guns. NV, thermals and other high tech optics are the cake and ice cream essentially.

Been hunting hogs practically every night for 3yrs. Never occurred to me to tape it. Since I'm a one-man show I'll leave to you guys...outstanding display of hazardous waste disposal. Do you guys process all those? If I did that I would get nothing done. All my neighbors tell me to just leave em for the buzzards. Usually gone in a day or two, even if there is a dozen in the same spot.
