They work on themselves yes but they aren't where they could be because the are comparing themselves to the 90% below them. As long as your genetics aren't terrible, then it's not that difficult be top 10-20%. @Black Man most people stuck in this echo chamber of repeating not to cut first are usually skinny fat or mildly overweight to begin with. I'd say if you're under 18% bodyfat when you start working out then you're fit to bulk, otherwise cut for a while you fat fck. I was 25% last year due to having several years off for a plethora of reasons. I'm cutting until I get to about 15%, maintaining for a bit, bulking till 18, and then doing a gradual cut to the 12-15 range over the next 2 years, my goal is to eventually maintain the 12% range and I'll see if I have to do another bulk around that time. I'm around 18% now. My physique's nothing special but compared to the average skinny fat guy it's decent for now. Hope this helps bro

If you are not concentrating on your core muscles too...it does hurt you (especially in the bedroom). Without core strength...you will not be able to dominate in the bedroom (so to speak). I hate seeing women mounting men...a lot of these men don't have the stamina to "push forward" because they are not fit. This does matter to women. A lazy man that lacks core strength, and stamina in the bedroom is a major turn-off.

I suppose this difference between perception of beauty amongst males and females comes from cavemen times. If a male was unfit or fat, he was unable to provide resources. However, if a female was on the chubbier side, she would be percieved as a good candidate for healthy offsprings. Maybe it's a bullsh*t but it makes sense to me.

Not really. Beauty standards can and have changed over time. Thousands of years ago fat people were more attractive because they could sit back and relax while peasants had to toil in the fields. Today the role is reversed. Thin and athletic people are viewed as more attractive because they have the necessary resources to take care of their bodies. Fat people do not have these resources (or don’t care) and are thus viewed as less attractive.
@themarathoncontinues42113 жыл бұрын
@@circletech7745 it’s also the difference in what we call fat now vs fat then. Fat now is largely reserved for obese/morbidly obese people. Back then I’m sure it was largely for people who were overweight, which is what we would consider thick
@sapmartin3 жыл бұрын
@@circletech7745 I thought about it as well after posting that comment. While it is true that the beauty standards have changed over time, it was because of a new variable. Wealthy people could "afford to be fat". It was a sign of power. Nowadays, generally speaking, we have a more even distribution of wealth than back in the days, so the variable got eliminated again (fat means no power anymore) and reverted back to the basic standard of cavemen. Does it make sense?

Fat people simply didn’t exist in those days It was more based on features like strong jaws which show off that you actually eat meaning you can provide. This is so true. I used to always diet before i went on holiday. That was the only time I had girls keen on me. And when I was on holiday my body fat would go even lower. And more girls would be keen. But once back home and my weight going up I'm invisible to women. Now I'm in my 40's I find it so hard to lose body and face fat

I think generally this is great content. I do want to state that being below 10% bodyfat can come with many risk/ side effect factors for men. The healthy bodyfat range to be is considered around 15%. Some people can get away with having more or less and a lot of how you look is going to vastly depend on your genetics. (You can get away with having good facial features being at-least below 20%. I know attractiveness is subjective, but I wouldn't really say most people are ugly puffy buffalos at 15-16% as most men are not even at that level. In addition to this content, I do recommend watching videos from Greg Doucette and Sean Nalewanyj as I've seen some good informational videos regarding bodyfat/fitness. However, I again do not to take away from this guy's channel as I do think he post generally good content.

This is why the male advantage is discussed so much by myself. I've been 18 and handsome with abs, getting girls was too easy, keeping them was impossible. Whereas now at 29 it's the women trying to marry me. It's normal, regardless of looks these girls are looking for the ambitious guy, the guy moving forward, has a great job already, nice car, great life setup, they're programmed to sleep with handsome muscular men and settle down with winners in life. You're 18 it's not your fault it takes time. I know exactly how you feel, but there's not a lot you can do. When you're young you have the looks and the body but no money or assets. When you grow up you have the money and assets but the body and looks vanish. Then there's a small pool of men who stay in shape whilst the money is coming in, 28-50 they enjoy the male advantage, get any woman they want and every woman wants to be either in a relationship or married to them, aim for this. Focus on yourself for now, start thinking about success outside of school because school and good grades isn't how you get rich

Bad take. Women want face, body and money in that order, status is a bonus. Because women have so many options it is easy for her to find a husband that has at least 2/3 of the above things, there is no reason she would settle for an ugly rich guy unless she's a gold digger. I would very much rather be the hot dude who fucks her when she's 22 than the 30 year old rich ugly guy who gets to have sex with her when she's 30 but only once a week. You have a point about women and bodyfat. Women who are little "fat" but are fat in the right places (ass, tits, thighs) while not having much of a belly are just as desirable as a woman who's a healthy bodyfat. Cerain types of men (I won't get into that because youtube) even prefer these to heathier women.
@rattlehead9993 жыл бұрын
For the vast majority of natural men going under 11-12% body fat for prolonged time is not healthy, for many even under 13-14% isn't healthy. Your testosterone drops, your energy levels drop, you feel like shit and you eventually start losing muscle mass. You can go to 10-12% for about a month and a half to two months at most before negative side effects start to kick in. Usually people cut for the summer to those percentages. I think you are underestimating the body fat percentages. Ideally guys should be between 13 and 16% body fat, maybe try for 12% and see how it is. I suggest checking guys like Igor from Vitruvian Physique and Jeff Nippard, they are both in excellent shape and both cut down to 13-14% body fat and bulk up to 17-18% and both are natural.
