Wisdom does come with age, I am 76 and share many of the gentleman's regrets and life experiences. I have learned that as time goes by, that I am still learning, it's a wonderful thing.

You should write to University of Manitoba and ask what you need to do to complete your degree. You can still finish your university degree. It would be fantastic and you would be a great role model that you can always finish your goals.

Thank you so much for this masterpiece.. he had been consistently focusing on setting goals and staying focused... Though we are aware of it but it is often taken for granted ... That's so crucial to set goals and stay focused.. it's my major takeaway from this channel today..

You’re absolutely right-goal-setting and focus are everything. It’s one of those truths that’s so simple, we often overlook it. But the reality is, when you set clear goals and stay laser-focused, you give yourself a roadmap to success. Without it, you’re just wandering aimlessly, hoping things will work out. The magic happens when you write those goals down and revisit them daily. Why? Because what you focus on grows. It’s not just about setting the goals-it’s about staying committed to them, even when life throws distractions your way. I’m so glad that resonated with you today! Your takeaway isn’t just knowledge-it’s power. Now, go apply it and make 2025 the year your goals become reality. You’ve got what it takes! 💪🚀✨

Yeah, I like this man, he’s got quite a good bead on things. If everyone was as reasonable as this man, we’d be in good shape… regrettably, this sort of common sense is becoming more uncommon.

This man just spoke out what I feel. I can relate to his feeling pretty much. I'm 53 years old and couldn't finish the university. I've loved what I've studied, but I've got distracted on the way. I was a victim of narcissistic abuse once in a friendship and twice in a relationship. After these deeply traumatising experiences, I became a people's pleaser because due to the narcissistic abuses, I lost my capacity to say no. I've attracted people who took advantage of my time and energy and as migrant and single mother with a child with some little special needs and an old sick father before he died I lost the track of my goals and become really mentally, emotionally and physically sick with different autoimmun diseases, just functioning on survival modus. I've lost all the documents of my university credits and could never recover them again because they were made in a time when things were still not digitally registered in the country where I live. I'm someone who normally used to accomplish my goals but after that I felt something is incomplete in my life. My whole destiny changed from what wished for to something I can't enjoy at all anymore, but I'm still very grateful for the mediocre life I live. I focus now on supporting my daughter to achieve her goals and help elders in need. I have nothing else to lose in this life because I lost myself already. Now, I also focus on learning how to detach and letting go of what I can not change anymore because I don't have the energy and the heath anymore to start from the scratch those studies. To finish the university in this fase of my life wouldn't change my destiny anymore, but I still can't forgive myself for being so naiv and weak when I was younger. I didn't stand up for myself.
