Love old inns and pubs this one no exception. Really interesting history to the place especially that hanging. Curious as to what that ringing could of been maybe an old bell on the wall that rings occasionally or an electronic air freshener maybe fitted with a bell noise crazy as it sounds but we need to be sure. Walk With Me Tim would have also been checking for bed bugs lol🤣

I believe the building is "crooked & wonky" because foundations that far back were minimal or nonexistent -- (just lay the timbers and stones in the dirt.) Darren, after watching this I want to go to Disneyland, not Disney World but Disneyland the original, and go on the Harnted Mansion ride. LOL This was a very enjoyable watch from start to finish...........

Love these old buildings that retain their imperfect charm. Great video. With regards to the ghosts, I have a possible explanation. I heard the exact same 'jingle bell' noises whenever I stayed at my Grandma's house as a nipper. It did my head in for years as i searched for a natural explanation (I've always been a nerd). Eventually I worked out what it was - it was a thin crystal or glass ornament that was placed near the radiator, and the tinkling was just the material expanding and retracting depending on the heat surrounding it. Admittedly it would be a lot cooler if it was the spirit of a monk ringing his little penance bell or some sh1t, but I enjoyed the hunt. Thanks for the video, it took me back to those days

Hi Darren ,a good one- that bomb shelter looked exactly like ones that were in our school playground when I was little- one day workmen had unbricked the doorway and being kids we sneaked in! Great video and great hotel. Thanks a lot. Dunno about the "haunted" stuff: sounds like bs to me. As a kid, I lived for five years in an old manse supposedly haunted. And it was next door to an even older graveyard going back to the early 1500s. I never once saw a ghost.

Ok.....i used to work here. Spent a year of my life in the Olde Bell. Its a very creepy place. I always heard strange noises and phenomenon. Used to do the occasional night manager shift. Guests always used to ask me in the morning if i had walked the halls at a certain time.....and i didnt. I had one route to check certain areas at night and that was just once per night. Daz did you notice the orb come past you at 8:53 in the vid while you were talking? 😲 Its been a good 15 years since i worked there...i was in my early 20s.
