So neat! The reason the ball is in the mettalic colors is because you have to shake those. You don’t ever have to shake the non metallic colors and you should always lay the Metallics on their side because the pigments settle on the bottom but when on their side the mettalics have a larger area to settle on and when you shake it, it mix’s faster. Learned all this from a Tim Holtz alcohol ink class. Just an fyi

Its cheap to buy your colored glass at the hardware stores. You can buy bags of glass at a good price. They make the colored glass for fire pits. They even have the mirror glass. Im sure you can also order it online just make sure you buy the small size glass pieces its sold in different glass in different sizes big to small pieces. Funny how when its for art they charge a lot if money for it but when its for gas fire pits its much cheaper... The puppies are so so cute, the little tiny cuties and mom are adorable...

Just beautiful, and the love you show your babies! Mama has a mama, and lucky babies have 2! Julie you are so talented, I don’t think there isn’t much you can do once you set your mind to it. It’s amazing how many of us that are in healthcare- especially nurses lean toward art, making beautiful with out hands, minds and hearts! Stress reliever ? See Beauty in the world, not sure why but It happens all over.

Never a waste of time when we learn something - especially if it saves you time and money. I just went through schipperke puppy births. Nothing like having new puppies. I kept one and gave the other to my BFF since she only had two.

Awwww the little puppy's are so cute,,, as is their mum, what a lovely way to start the day,,,the mirror glass looks so cool,at first I thought that you had to break pieces of glass, with a glass cutter and then grind them,,, or heat and chill it,,,didn't know you 😘could get them like this, amazing work again. 😘👍

I leave mine to dry in the cup and it works just fine as the alcohol evaporates, saves the paper towel bit. Only the metallic inks have a ball and are best stored on their side to make mixing easier. Great video :)

GR8 VIDEO~ I didn't realize that making your own Colored Crushed Glass was So Easy, AND that IT would turn out SO pretty! I was afraid that you might lose That Fabulous Sparkle, but YOU proved THAT to be Something that WE ALL needn't worry about it! Yay! 🎉 BUUUT, I'm guessing that the KEY HERE is USING CRUSHED MIRROR? Fun little project, and WAY easier than that whole rigamaro with those Glass Pebbles. THAT'S Way TOO Much work for me, as health issues I'm currently dealing with are causing some very annoying fatigue and exhaustion. Thanks for the GR8 Lesson.
