@@903fishing I didn't have a bobber stopper that day so I used a uni to uni with a bead as a stopper. Worked in a pinch but non adjustable.

I liked this video because of information about setting up my crappie rig. I had been using the regular red and white ball bobble. So when I saw the slip bobble I was to amazed. Ik this may sound like I'm a rookie. Too some I might be but I haven't been fishing over 20yrs and decided to get back on the lake. I was looking for different rigs and this was the first video to pop up and I have been watching every since. So thanks bro you have been a big help on rigging and catching crappie. My bro finally a video that does not Just show us the instructor catching specks and saying I’m using a slip bobber and hook only. But doesn’t think it’s important enough to explain to those of us who are not experienced with speck fishing so we are not learning the Technique of proper set ups. I'm going to try this method on my favorite local lake. Its cold here and I recently tried using spinners near the bottom of the deep section, but to my amazement I hit loads of dead algae, grass, and gunk which I NEVER dealt with during the summer when I used spinners. I'm hoping this will let me target the deep section from above and avoid all the crap, just like you said. This was a great video - thank you

Soooo thank you soooo much for this video. Im a beginner with very bad eyesight so I decided to use high vis braid line with a mono leader but I love the the idea of the slip bobber. I've been searching KZbin for "how to use a slip bobber with a leader" lol. I stumbled across your video to see how you rig your slip bobber. And wahhh laaaaaaaaa you're using a leader line tooooooooo ...This just made my night.... You should maybe put somewhere in the description that you're using a slip bobber on a braided line with a mono leader so the video can pop up for anyone who's searching. Most videos on slip bobbers being installed don't use leaders like you're doing..... Thank You Again !!!!!

This is how my grandfather taught me to do it. Only we used two of the plastic stops on mono with eagle claw crappie rigs. I like the braid idea with mono a as leader, ive lost a lot of rigs to brush and piers bc they break above the swivel.
