Great video, wish you made one where you actually do it.. Also i have a 93 legend, but the power steering belt i was not able to remove with what you pointed out in the video, it was not getting loose at all, stayed tight the entire time

Hello G0t2BMiiRii, It’s been a while since I own a legend. However sometimes when the tension bolts do not do anything even though you turn them, it just means the swivel part of the mechanism is stuck. The power steering tension bolt is the long one I point out on the side. Once you start to turn it in the direction that is supposed to loosen, get like a crowbar to push the power steering pump towards the engine. This will loosen the mechanism that swivels the pump. This way as you turn the bolt you should be able to just push on the pump loosening the tension on the belt. Hope this helps. I want to update this channel since I now work on BMWs . hopefully soon I’ll start updating it. But any questions you have I’ll try an answer them. Thanks

It looks like you pointed to the wrong fasteners for the power steering pump. Those are engine mount bolts. The bolt is hidden below the PS pump, and the nut above the PS pump also has to be loosened.

I am trying to replace my alternator

Do i need to worry about first getting the engine to Top Dead Center for the timing belt, or does it not matter for this engine. i wouldn't want to bend any valves

Usually to put it in top dead center you will use the main pulley the crank shaft pulley. Turning it by hand with a big wrench. Till all your marks line up. Then you can remove the belt.

Is there a way that I can remove the PS belt without removing the others? Mine makes a lot of noise and I constantly spray lube on it.

Onel Thompson Hello Onel, By the way it looks, you can only remove the PS belt after you remove the alternator belt. unless you dont mine cutting it. then you dont need to remove any of them.
