Usually I don't like music in videos because I like to hear everything that's going on, but this was done tastefully and briefly. Thank you for the tour. Great scenery!

I enjoyed seeing High Rock from the air after seeing it from the ground. Good Video!

For sure! And, from the air, you can appreciate how big--and remote--the area is.

Glad you will be riding along, James. I have a few more--way out there!--videos coming, just as soon as I get this little airplane back in the sky! After 2,600 hrs, too much "stuff" is breaking...

Sting Flight what kind of stuff? I’d like to get a used plane like yours...parts availability ok?
@StingFlight5 жыл бұрын
@@drdpetizo I just had to totally re-build my braking system, after 3,700+ landings. Parts can always be obtained, but sometimes the wait is longer than it should be; but I know that SportairUSA and TL Ultralight are working hard to improve on that!

Great to see you back! I love the flying videos of the West. Such a difference from the south east. No public lands here to land on. All of our national forest lands are very wooded and very restricted!

Thanks, and yes we are so lucky to have NV, which is 85% Our Lands✔😁

@@StingFlight haha I do, well, just on the other side of the mountain. I'm North of herlong and south of Janesville. I didn't know they had a public runway out there. I'm always dirtbiking out in the dessert by dead cow where the fly in was and wanted to go see the 747, i was wondering about that. Oh and I think I'm about 208 right now.
@StingFlight6 жыл бұрын
Folks: Those of you who may call that BLM # shown at 4:57s to register your displeasure with that 747, you can mention: 1. It is MOOP--matter out of place; 2. A violation of the "leave no trace" principle; 3. Sets a bad example that more massive art displays will now want to adopt--leaving their "stuff" sit around the edge of the desert on little "postage stamp" private parcels, until the next Burning Man; and 4. Demonstrates how the BLM failed to fully protect our public land by allowing Big Imagination to tow the plane there in the first place.

Hello Sting, I just watched a re-cap video of the Mistakes and Lessons leanred. I really hope Lake Tahoe council decides on the Airport rather building real estate.Either one, it will both be a feat.

Wait! The most recent video is 5 months old? Are you one of those pilots who only flies in warm weather? Are you still flying? And are you located in Nevada or nearby (I'm nearby)? I wouldn't mind going on some wild, crazy, super-rural flying trips with you once I get my airplane (ordered, waiting).
@StingFlight5 жыл бұрын
Yes, still flying--out of Yolo Co., west of Sacramento. More videos? I think these 80, plus the 30 or so too crazy to leave up, that I deleted, pretty much covers it. Well wait, I do have one more in the works: "Forty-four ways I tried to kill myself, flying an LSA 2,600 hours." Fly that many hrs in 8.5 years and it won't all just be bluebird weather. You'll find my email under the "About" button on Sting Flight; make contact when you have your machine--and want to do an adventure!

Wow. How did you get your Sting? And why Sting? How did you find TL Ultralights product?
@StingFlight6 жыл бұрын
I got lucky, Frankie! On my 65th birthday, I decided to take a flight lesson. The closest place had a Sting--which I didn't know squat about. But I took three lessons and loved it--and that plane--so I bought a used 2007 model with 200 hrs. And now, 8 years and 2,500 hrs later, you know what? That's the SAME freaking plane I'd buy again. Like I said: I just got lucky!
