Season 6 gets a lot of criticism and love from the fandom, both are deserved in my opinion. By this point it is mostly original as the books ended pretty much last season - though the show runners were told some information to come in Winds of Winter. The biggest change from the book this season so far are he events in Dorne. In the book Dorne acts somewhat as a second kingslanding, introducing new pov characters, including women who are given greater political urgency as Dorne doesnt discriminate against women. A big criticism of the show is the departure from Dorne in the books and the characterisation of those within
