It's not clickbait,it's a description for a golf problem. It shows everyone who has that problem a video to fix it. There are A LOT amateur golfers who need this kind of help

I got a tip that completely transformed my golf game. I was told to "swing like Lee Trevino". I open my stance slightly, never let the clubhead get inside of my hands, and biproduct of opening my stance is that it shortens my swing (closed stance allows for a longer swing). This video of yours is relatable because I was told to set up much more forward with lower loft at address.

This is great information. I'm a former college football athlete and new to golf . I'm BIG on "feel". The drills explained in this video really satisfied the feel of my swing. It reduced the uncomfortable tension of my swing from years of barbarian workouts.

Thank you ... Watched this about a month ago and practiced as much as I could and now my swing in no longer over the top; fat; or pull hooks. I am going to keep working on these drills, my suggestion is to start slow with each drill until you can do it on auto pilot then practice with one club to get your tempo and work out the kinks and you should see some positive results

I don't know that I agree that by pressing the hands forward, that it will open the club face. When starting the backswing, the club should actually look like it is closed when the hands get waist high, unless you are consciously rolling your hands backwards (death move). Yet, at impact it is actually square to target line. There has to be some leaning of the club at impact in order to compress the ball before hitting turf. Having said that, you provide some good points and I like this video and the drills that you have provided. Thank you.

Hi, I'm pretty new to the channel and so far the loving your drills. I've been playing golf for 30 years now but always feel my impact with my irons is always hit or miss. and most of my bad shots I tend to pull left or they just don't feel pure. with that I was wondering if you analyze swings if I sent you some videos of my swing?

That's funny, I work on the opposite with my coach and it works out so much better for me. A more steep club path and coming down onto the ball, granted the down and left club/hand path is a part of the trick to making it work. Interesting how many different swings there are, wish I knew that earlier on lol.

Well I disagree with the hands forward thing. It’s important to have your hands ahead of the club head at impact, but not to the extreme you had it. Also, if it opens the club face too much, take a stronger grip.

@ramblinwreck242 жыл бұрын
What clickbait?
@Bystronicman082 жыл бұрын
@@robsmith6093 The entire title. Saying a percentage of golfers do some vauge thing wrong. First, where did the 95% number come from? Also, he doesn't mention what they're doing wrong in the title because he wants you to wtach the video to find out what he says it is. I thought it was pretty obvious and didn't need any explanation but the tile is blatant clickbait. Unfortunately, it's everywhere now. He does it, Rick Shiels does it. Tons of people do it now. It's deceptive.
@saint_leonard742 жыл бұрын
Not sure how this is clickbait but good talk everyone. Here’s a thought if you don’t like it don’t watch.
@robsmith60932 жыл бұрын
He doesn't need to mention it in the title if he shows a picture of what the title is actually about, then in the video he goes on and talks more about what you see in the photo. Seems like a reach to call this clickbait though. I don't like deceptive titles either I just didn't think this was one of them

I fell like that you should ALWAYS HIT DOWN instead. The thing is that your arms are not going to stretch, when you hit down, it has to come up. For many beginners, they hit too thick and the club head bounce up and then top their ball. When you hit down right at the ball, your club head is going to slightly reach further than you intended, due to speed. And then you would hit the ball in the back perfectly, if you always try to hit down at the ball.
