#96 Start to finish tutorial on how to create a sunflower using alcohol ink

Very pretty! You could also dab the center with a q-tip dipped in alcohol.

Interesting you used alcohol in the blending pen vs the blending solution for that pen, which to me does have a different effect. Hmm. I'll have to try that.

I've never been a fan of blending solution. I prefer alcohol. It works great in the pens.

Hi Marilyn. Thank you for watching. I use 2 coats of Krylon Kamar Varnish and then 2 coats of Krylon Kamar UV Protection.

Love this one. I am having a difficult time trying to get your supply list though. A quick question is how do you keep the pens you use from drying out? Do you need to do anything before you or after you use them to keep them fresh?

Thank you! I've stored my posts pens on their side as well as upright and haven't had any issues. As long as you cap them properly, you should be fine.

Jeanette this is lovely. How do you seal this and I wanted to ask if you have ever painted alcohol ink on a non glazes tile

Thank you. I use krylon kamar varnish and uv protection. I don't use ai on tiles that aren't Glazed as the tile would absorb the ink.
