981 Cayman GTS w/Top Gear Headers!

Finally uncorked with GTS with a set of Top Gear UK Sport headers. Combined with the factory Porsche Sports exhaust it's truly a sound without compromise. The volume is pronounced, but click the valves closed and it's basically stock. Extremely pleased with the setup and the additional theater it provides.

That sound is food for the soul. I've got a stock 981 Boxster S PSE and sometimes it feels like the noise is directed away from the driver. I'm only reminded how loud my car actually is when travelling through a tunnel or corridor

It would be wonderful if you could do a standard exhaust showcase video. Valves open/closed, flybys, incabin etc… Very close to getting this on my GTS as well!

No tune yet. Mic is an Olympus lav mic just clipped to the seat belt

Year and a half and so far so good. I did have to run defoulers but since that no CEL.

Awesome! I'm considering this exact set up assuming these are the 200 cell version. How did the build quality seem?

Build quality is great. Side by side with soul it's hard to tell the difference. I believe top gear has a 2 year warranty on the converters and even longer on the welds.

I already have the TG valved on my 08BoxS and am now stuck between deciding on the TG catted vs non-catted and my concern is drone. With the current stock headers and with the valves closed there is currently no drone. When open they are magic! Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Tough to say. My 987.1 had TG valved with stock headers and my 981 has catted headers with PSE, so I'm not sure how the drone would be combining the two...

Not all all. You'd be hard pressed to tell it wasn't factory.
