Scoring irons are key to a good round. Great video. Thanks for covering my question much appreciated. Will be heading to the thick rough this week to practice. Not that I want to end up in there, but be prepared!

That’s it! ☝🏻 I’m one of the 99% I was thinking about what questions I have (that you asked your “viewers” in the intro) THIS is it! My IRONS! 🏌️♂️ Weakest clubs in my bag. 😞 I was just thinking I rarely feel that shot “down in my loins” (as Roy McAvoy says in “Tip Cup”) I used to, but I rarely PURE it, like I have, but rarely do anymore. That first swing (lots of effort, trying to “bash” it and “muscle it” out there, falling back) is so me. 🙄 I’m going to try this, try to hit a “scoring” shot, hit a “control shot”, and swing shoulder-to-shoulder with my irons. I need to hit more greens! Great video; one of your best! 👍🏻

Hi, I love your content. I am roughly a 17-22 handicap and I am having trouble hitting my longer irons (4&5). I find that I am much more comfortable with my shorter irons (9-6) because, for some reason, I feel more comfortable at the setup. Oh, a little unknown fact: I had two left side hip replacements within 12 years, 50 years old. Thanks a lot and I’ll keep watching. Isaac Dean/ Haddon Twp NJ

Alex great video! I have somehow gotten my clubs way past parallel in the last year or so. Very frustrating. I have gone from a single digit to about 16. I am walking up to the greens now with 3 clubs so often. My putter and usually 2 wedges. Would love your advice on how to stop going past parallel. Any drills would be welcome.

Good point Alex. I think 💭 a lot of people need to play the longer clubs in the same more controlled way.

I was wondering if you had any home drills that you can do without a club, that would help build muscle memory for weight shift and swing rotation. Loving the videos.

I just tried it with the 6 iron, since that’s what I have problem to hit with. It makes everything a lot easier lol. When I tried with driver though, doesn’t go far. I guess with driver I still need to create bigger circle

I’ve seen several tips for general sloped lies, but any tips on extremely sloped lies? There is a fairway at my home course with major tilt and always struggle on those shots. The amount of tilt is where ball is around knee to mid thigh height.

Hi Alex; this is a little off the subject, but when instructors say that the feet should be shoulder width apart, are you talking about the outside of your feet or inside of your feet? Wouldn't that make a difference in ball position? Thanks.

outside! this will give you the correct distance

When I watch the professionals, they seem to have very narrow stances with the driver. Why are we told to be "shoulder width" wide when the professionals are not? Is this just personal preference?
