When doing rides, with another, in ‘remote, country’ like this, where mobile phone reception is not guaranteed, I always like to pack along, a couple of small lightweight VHF Walkie-Talkie radios that are only about the size of a packet of cigarettes, but which allow you to maintain contact with each other within about a 5 to 10 KMs range. Handy to have in circumstances like you encountered where, at that fork in the road, you each didn’t know where the other one was, either ahead, of, or behind you.

@@_JoshJB_ thanks for your quick reply. So I suppose you haven't had any leak? Some people say the nozzle doesn't fit on it very well and leaks when fuelling, but that doesn't seem like a big issue to me. As you would only loose a few drops...

Lance's bike is making a lot of clacking noises ... is his chain rooted ?

Nah it was a brand new chain for the trip. Probably just in a higher gear on low revs. Mine sounds similar when I do the same.

As much as I’d love to watch your vids… I cant. You whip your head around a bit too much which is difficult to watch. 🥴 Sorry dude.
@_JoshJB_ Жыл бұрын
😂 because the camera is literally on my chin. Thanks for watching anyway
@decoycreativedistractions Жыл бұрын
Yep, I know it’s mounted on your chin… that’s why I said “you whip your head around too much”. Swift camera movements can evoke a sense of motion sickness in some viewers… and unfortunately, I seem to suffer from it. Funnily enough, I can watch Lance’s videos without too much problem. His naturally slower movements result in much smoother footage. So I get to see your adventures through his eyes. Just to be clear, I’m not “having a go” at you Josh… I’m just making you aware of an issue that professional camera operators are very much aware of… and some of the more experienced Adventure Riders on KZbin have obviously worked out. Itchy Boots for example has some of the best footage out there. I sincerely wish you the best of success. 🤙🏼
