Mikiri slightly breaks the flow of combat at times so that's why he doesn't do it all the time, the point of the videos is to be entertaining, so to separate from the average sekiro pro gamer, he does a more entertaining play style.

eh, i don't know if i agree with that. i think Sekiro, lore-wise, would probably fight more like Owl - lots of movement, dodges, frequent use of several prosthetic tools, and dirty tactics. I highly doubt Sekiro would focus so heavily on deflection, were we not in control of him - deflecting attacks puts yourself at risk of having your posture broken by a well-timed strike, leaving you wide open for a deathblow, which is why Owl spends so much time *avoiding* your attacks outright, instead of challenging them. at the very least, there's absolutely no fuckin way he'd BAMF walk around the arena during moments of respite.

To be fair I think he would do it considering wolves will do anything and will even sacrifice limbs if they must to make defeating their prey easier and that fits Sekiro pretty well as well as he would use a combination of arts, prosthetics, sugars and more because of his intense training and all of his lessons he learned.

Truly, this is master swordsmanship. In the 2nd of stage of Isshin, look how his posture meter was always getting filled up but it was never broken. Every deflection was perfect. He even deflected Ashina Cross. You truly have the Shinobi Eyes to see through every attack of the enemy.

That was incredible. I'm always amazed when you deliberately deflect thrust attacks in order to see the rest of their attack combo play out instead of using mikiri counter. Quick question: Why not use Mist Raven to do the LIghtning Reversals in the 3rd phase to make it truly damageless? You had to heal to survive the Lightning Reversal chip damage at the end. Is it a question of not having enough spirit emblems?

I could not be sure of the extra Spirit Emblem. If there had been enough Spirit Emblem, I would have used a Mist Raven. However, chip damage caused by lightening reversal is not big deal for me anyway :)
