Thanks to this video I just subscribed now. I am an older guy who doesn't really play TM competitively. I only played through the vanilla tracks and hate playing the crazy tracks that you guys seem to love. I just like car driving but have no time for games. That being said, I can really enjoy these documentary-style videos and I watched all I could find on KZbin (it started with a "history of A-1 wr" video by someone else and eventually led me to you). I still am bored quickly with playing the game, and find all of the online tracks annoying to play as most or almost all require thousands of played hours to even reach finish. For a casual player these videos are gold, and you have really good feeling of how to do them, make them long enough, but not boring. (Short is not interesting enough to click, but long is very difficult to keep the viewer interested). I hope you'll keep producing these and I am sure that this will lead to the increase of subscribers, especially as the time goes by and your audience matures. As a 40-year-old with experience in the movie industry, I find your videos easily watchable and very nicely done. Keep in mind that TrackMania will only become older as well as your audience, and these kind of videos will only rise in value. You bring the experience of playing as an elite player to the newbies and casual players. Not to be boring, thank you and I hope to see more content like this in the future, I hope it will pay back your effort invested in making them (it's very obvious to me how much effort goes into making it), and most of all, I hope making them will keep making you happy.

@Luka_menorykee4 жыл бұрын
@@BabaFroga I have to disagree, because us newbies and casuals don't see anything except that it's a better time. Only a high level player can explain to us what it is and why it's cool. That's why these documentaries are great, they can easily reach a wider audience and take us along for a ride. That's the magic of it, to make us outsiders be able to enjoy and admire the subtleties of what makes a run legendary. This is what is needed to reach an audience outside of just gamers of a specific game. We just don't see what you guys see, and it's also the passion that we enjoy when you describe what is happening on the screen. Hard to put in words what exactly it is, but it's there, it's not fake and overly dramatized like some commentaries are. It's honest, informative, and once you can feel the admiration of an elite player for a run, it's easy to understand that it's a good run. Gamers may not need that, but I do, and I believe I might not be alone. I have no time for gaming but I still want to be able to feel like a part of the audience that can grasp how big a thing is, when it's happening on the screen :) To each his own, I need the commentary :)

Seeing the new record, it looks like it got the *exact* same trajectory as Victor's run, which is just beautiful to watch. To think, because of how close the run was, if Victor did the first part even a little bit faster, he might still hold the record, and this video would never have been made.
@monarker19804 жыл бұрын
The record could still stand for more 2 years maybe
@TheJerseyNinja4 жыл бұрын
Nah it wasn’t the same trajectory. The new record dude hit 2 poles, Viktor didn’t and he flew through the air much faster. If he had tried in the beginning he 100% would still have the record, I mean look at Wirtual’s record on the remake. It’s almost a second faster than the new WR. Because he tried in the beginning, and got as clean of a bounce off the poles as possible and kept a lot of speed.
