A 160 gsm Bullet Journal as a SKETCHBOOK / ART JOURNAL?! 🙈 😅 🤩 Starting a NEW SKETCHBOOK!! 🥳 🐰

Yes indeed, sketchbooking is back! Let me introduce to you my new journaling style (?!) always with a travel journal aesthetic and including at the same time Urban Sketches, Watercolor Paintings, Pencil drawings, Ink doodles, ephemera and patterned paper collages... And more! At the same time a bullet journal, a junk journal, a watercolor sketchbook, an illustrated journal, an art journal... What else?! 😅 Oh yes, I hope you'll like it!! … 😁 🥳 I am debating about calling this "creative journaling". What do you think?!! …😆
I am using the Seques 160 gsm bullet journal by Qiheng.

It’s not so easy for me to find the right balance between the sketches, the writing, the collages so that it looks more like an illustrated (travel) journal than for example scrapbooking so I am thrilled when I achieve it. Hey there! Appreciating other artists' art journals than actually doing art journals are more of my thing. I prefer drawing and painting than journaling. But whenever art block strikes, it's nice to do something different by adding texts and various mediums in the pages. 😊🌟

I made a temporary cover for my fabric journal using scrapbook paper, so that it gets scuffed instead of the book itself. It’s working so far! 😂 Art journals are so much fun, I love sticking things in to them. Yours looks beautiful! ☺️❤️

I just also discovered this kind of a journal. Love that it is so functional and takes whatever I throw at it pretty well. I have been using B6 size and Archer & Olive notebooks.Thanks for this inspiring video. Love the idea of an Illustrated Journal.

I have 3 bullet journals now in part because of you! Lol I have a seqes. A stm. And a reverie bullet journal by mellow days. The reverie is 160 gsm cold pressed dot grid watercolor paper. Its so lovely! They're based out of France. Idk where you're from but probably way closer to them than I am. All three are great. I think I clicked out woth my choices. I do like the seqes paper slightly better than the stm paper but they're similar and the stm cover feels better in my hands. Reverie one takes paint though but I can't officially rank it until I've put it through the wringer. I'll lyk!!

I'm glad you got interested about it! 😊😊I said the Seques was not available but, after the fact, I realized that it was because Amazon bring me every time on the Fr website but it may be available on other Amazon, like in the US. I may share a comparison but you can already note that the Seques paper is bright white whereas the Scribble & dot is off white / creamy. As for me, I don't really know which one I will prefer so I'll see! 😁😃

over here we use a brand of sketch book called Seawhites. Good quality paper and lots of choices for size and layout.

J’aime beaucoup aussi, même si je n’arrive pas à faire de collage spontanément (alors que j’ai de quoi faire et que je récolte de petites choses on the go lol). Par contre, moi la colle UHU ça ne marche pas chez moi : tout se décolle après quelques semaines depuis que je suis enfant 😂

Yes! Both links work in the US as well. The seques journal is 24.95 US and the scribble and dot is 22.95 US. Very good prices!
