@@Wrxroman unequal length headers and an exhaust and it will sound like a wrx but wont be as fast..... Normally aspirated Subaru engines are pretty expensive to build for speed but if you can find a cheap used wrx engine, a swap isn't a bad option.... In my opinion just get an exhaust, and do some small handling upgrades, sway bars, links and bushings, good tires.... it will sound fast, and handle well for a pretty small budget

Plus you don't have all the negative stigma associated with sti's now a days. Interior is also quite nice for a 17 year old car. Very under rated cars not sure why they are so cheap. I hope he's having better luck with his lowered all-wheel-drive car than me. Now mine is by no means slammed I can definitely do speed bumps easily, about 1/4in give or take wheel gap. But I can't get more than about 25,000 almost 30 out of a set of tires before the insides are all messed up. And this is with the much gentler driving style of my girl, lol. And wheel bearings don't last very long either, lol. Changed them twice in 83k mi. I'm assuming that's E85? What RPM does it make that power at and where is the powerband? Where does it spool ? Nice build, I have to say I'm partial to the sedan Legacy, still nice though 👍
@iantaylor954 жыл бұрын
Yeah man mine isn't even that low, but pretty low, and i have like MAYBE -.05 camber on the front, it's barley noticeable until you look at it from the front and my tires are lucky to last that long too. My long tube headers sometimes hit speed bumps if i don't hit them right though lol
@easycomeeasygo89014 жыл бұрын
@@iantaylor95 I guess on the plus side we dont need to worry about dry rott, lol. Unfortunately for me everytime I get new tires the shop that mounts them fucks the rims up a little more each time. And I bring them just the rims and tires. I take the car out of the equation. This last time they flattened the rim lip out where the machine grabbed it, wtf. I gotta get a tire machine. All kinds of problems being a enthusiast, lol.
@iantaylor954 жыл бұрын
@@easycomeeasygo8901 very true! But damn! That's rough lol i feel you though. It sucks when that's your "usual shop" but maybe try taking your wheels somewhere else they might care a little more. I'm glad i have 2 front spare rims from being a square stance to getting wider rears, if they ever get scuffed or anything
@easycomeeasygo89014 жыл бұрын
@@iantaylor95 my bad should of mentioned it was a different shop everytime. I'm no baller or KZbin that's taking it in. Just regular Joe trying to get by. My first mistake was bringing it to pep boys, at the time I worked there and they said they will give me a deal 50 mount/balance. That brought some light scratches. I let it slide. Good luck getting your job to refinish your wheels after light scratches. Then every other shop added a few new ones. No matter where I went and how carefully I was selecting shops. This last shop got me good. I noticed no new scratches. Months later on tire rotation I noticed each rim had 2 flats spots in them from where the machine grabbed the rim. 12 and 6 o'clock. It was too late. Not sure if that can be fixed and if it's worth it. Figure say at min 50 per rim then respraying the rims 75 to 100 EA. Might just but new rims. I think I finally found one place that does it right. It's a high end car performance shop. But its 45 per tire plus tax plus 70mi round trip. A days time to protect my rims. 😂 unbelievable.
@iantaylor954 жыл бұрын
@@easycomeeasygo8901 daaaamn thats SUPER rough lol, i got lucky with the place i go to, its a truck shop but a lot of guys with those "nice truck rims" go there so they know how to take care of stuff.
