Seeing the little girl was really inspiring. It reminded me of how children have so much potential but many don't unlock it because they were not trained in the right way. Sometimes, the best way for your child to grow might not be the usual path taken by others. But it doesn't matter, what matters is that the light in your little girl or boy shines out brightly for the world to see. 'Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.' - Psalm 127:4-5

Congratulations on your accomplishments, you've both developed a lot in the last couple of years, especially with discussing struggles men face with their undertakings; even if other guys already thought you had it all together already. Godspeed my good men.

Its always good when a man is mindful of if he said something bad in front of a child. Its so unattractive to see a man spewing off all kinds of curse words in front of kids.
@entropytheory8875Сағат бұрын
People getting upset about Chris cursing is kinda ridiculous. Words are just that words. It’s not like he was throwing out tons of other words in his speech. People should think of curse words as words that communicate emotional impact and amplify the word itself. It’s easier to say a curse word that conveys a feeling with a statement rather than saying a longer sentence

For that first one, I really think it's dependent on their previous situation. If it was pretty bad or lackadaisical, then I think the response was superb. Unfortunately, that's not always how it works. Sometimes, your success was achieved through your own grit, but it was also open to you due to the foundations set by friends and family (if you have good friends and family). In that case, leaving that life behind can create an overly self-serving person, which can lead to failure. Then, you've got nothing to fall back on since your priority shift. A supportive community is more important for entrepreneural success than many realize or are willing to admit.

Chris, Read this ADVICE: You dont use profanity in your PodCasts...why do you continue using the F word even after a 9yo child asked you a Question ? Genuinely Profanity takes away from your sincerity & serious points. It demeans you. STOP using the F word Ok ?

Yeah, I don't get people talking about intelligent things yet use unintelligent words for emphasis.

I see what you mean and I think there’s a couple other perspectives. Not only does language like that make him more relatable and give him a sense of honesty, but it does put power and emotion behind what he’s saying.

I was taught that people that use cuss words are not intelligent enough to find the proper words to use so they cuss to fill the space.
@es0teric762 сағат бұрын
@@HeyUncleJack he does, but it's quite rare. Definitely not even a quarter to the extent he uses it here. But alas, I'm not a prude. If the girl's parents thought it was okay, that's totally on them. Not Chris.

This segment starts with a question from a 9 year-old. It's sad enough that her parents were defending your foul language, but I was stunned later in the segment when you started to drop f-bombs all over the place as if your intellectual gravitas gives you license to not respect a little girl because the f-word is such an important part of modern discourse. I am not against the use of the word. When I was your age, I probably used to significantly more. But it was at work or in private, and certainly not in the public square where pride and self-respect should counsel against it.
