For the bouncing buildings I think they just masked out the buildings, made it 105 or 110% Scale. Then tracked it so it stays in place. then make it bounce using the puppet pin tool.

Update for the building bounce, use the puppet tool and create points, top, bottom and both sides, stretch and you’ll get better results ✊🏽

Hello, I have quick question for you Max and i think you have answer for it. I am using Premiere Pro and i want to know how to mask the object in moving video and replace it with another image. Let's take an Eye for example. Is it possible to copy mask path and paste it to position bar? So the image will trace the mask path? I am hoping you manage to take your 1 minute for me.

Its actually pretty simple. I initially searched a lot for it, trying to understand how it works, but couldn't find any. What I guess it to be is a simple cloning effect that has been used in multiple duplicates of the same layer. I assume they first shot the whole thing in one go, with Ariana doing her thing. Then they maintained the same camera position and recorded a clean slate with similar lighting and set conditions. Then they prolly duplicated the layer and then masked the subject out at multiple points. Then they froze her movement on that points that they needed the shadows. and then rotoed them out in duplicates of the same layer. I would suggest key framing the opacity of the roto layers to make it far more believable. I may be completely wrong, apologies for the same, but I guess this could work. Cheers!
