Now you got people spouting off at the mouth about Corey Raymond, like he can force a kid to commit to him. He's not in charge of how much money the kid gets, and it's freaking July anways! Love this positivity and eff you attitude. If people really sat down and assessed everything LSU football has going, they'd be excited as well. It's too much "fear of losing out", in this fanbase. The fact that people don't understand the complete hole LSU was in before Kelly got here. Kirby Smart went to an UGA team that averaged 9-10 wins a year, that had a really good roster, that didn’t have to deal with the transfer portal, and it STILL took him 6 years to win a national championship. LSU isn’t trying to build and one and done roster. LSU is trying to build a dynasty. No other program has this many insanely strong developers of talent on their coaching staff. I mean, it's like the freaking Avengers. I've been saying this for a while, but LSU's 2026 and 2027 teams will be like UGA's 2021 and 2022 teams.

I wouldn't sleep on the new Bama staff, either. There's an argument to be made, that KD is the better GameDay coach. It really just comes down to his ability to recruit even half ass as good as Saban.... And so far? Looking pretty elite. Hell, even after the Saban departure and the mass exodus in the Portal, the remaining locker room? Still a higher pro-grade of talent than KD has ever had at previous stops.
