Doc's grind is just a different kind of flavour. Grian fishing 2000 times to (not) get a mending book is a respectable grind, too. Doc on the other hand is more like: why do the work for 20 minutes when I can build a machine and automate it in just 6 hours? Doc, you are the kind of lazy that led humanity from using scythes to gps assisted combine harvesters.

Enchants are very strong as shown by Zed's best worst armor&tools last season) And I'm sure he has enough iron to make as many as he needs, but its also not like iron is in short supply on the server between Tango & Impulse, Cub, and i assume Doc has one. (And the HHOA should be getting one soonish)

I started watching doc in season 9 and the start of the season was AMAZING nothing but banger after banger of an episode. Attempted spoiler free telling of my first impression of Doc below: I had never been exposed to technical Minecraft before and started watching Hermitcraft I think because of Grian in MCC. All I knew about Minecraft before was hypixel minigames, skyblock, a little parkour, and very, very basic survival. There was an interesting moment in one of Grian's videos caused by Doc that was pretty funny. I went over to Doc's channel for his point of view of the incident. What I saw in the episode opening was not at all what I expected to see, it was a thousand times more impressive than the event that led me to his channel initially. My jaw was on the floor. I went back and watched his first few episodes and couldn't stop watching until I caught up to present day.

Soooo keen to see what the GOAT is gonna do. I loved the first episode, I watched it in bits and pieces throughout the week. My approach to Hermitcraft watching normally is that I watch Docs shenanigans as the start and then the other Hermits follow after that. After all it’s Docs world, they just live in it. I’m loving the neighbourhood vibe.
