When shaking someone's hand, especially an older person, try to match their grip; especially a light grip. There are many like me who have arthritic hands and it hurts A LOT if someone squeezes our hand tightly. I've let out an audible yelp, involuntarily, when someone has gripped my hand too tightly.

Very interesting stuff indeed; I've read a few of Navarro's books and I must say they are an extreamly valuable resource. Some video clips of these behaviors would have been apt, more beneficial to the audience; it is still fascinating to listen to though, so thanks for posting.

“We see the behaviors but we don’t know what the cause is” my autistic experience in one sentence. I know someone is having emotions in front of me and I can research each inflection cuz I can physically see it, but I can’t interpret it. Are they stressed because I said something they don’t like or do they have to go to the bathroom?

Just observe other people in deeply...and try to find all the good things about them ...only good things..which helps them in many ways...we need deep observation for that... Like that...we ourself find or realize the body language and it's meaning without much description and by that we will benefit just copying that good things we find in other... because God is great...we distributes good things amoung all the creatures....so definitely we will find this in each and every one of us.

A bit of constructive feedback: look at how many times you (Matt) say, “sort of” or “kind of” in a sentence. It’s quite (not sort of) distracting. See what I did there??

I never heard it. His interview questions were so concise for me. He did not get in the way of the interviewer at all. However, i completely agree that all fillers ate distracting. I taught school for awhile and we had to film lesson plans. Watching film helped root out all the “um”, “sort ofs” and other filler statements. Its a great practice for public speakers
