hey i wanted to say that this tutorial was really helpful. another video idea, something i need much help with, is using sub basses in beats. for example, in travis scott's song "goosebumps" the intro has this really grimy sub bass i want to recreate but i don't know how. i also need to know the basics like, should i put my sub basses in mono, what effects should i use on it, how should i mix it (biggest problem for me). if you could make a video on this it would be much appreciated. like always though, keep up the great work, your channel is gonna blow up soon, i already can tell based on the effort and high quality editing. keep up the good work!
@NavieD4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching brother! Glad you found the video helpful. Also thank you for the suggestion. Just took a listen, sounds like it could be a saw wave stacked with a sub bass underneath with some saturation/distortion on both... Definitely a good idea for a video though, how to make different types of basses for your beats and whatnot. And thank you again for your compliments 👌🏽 I'm just glad to be of service

You can put your 808 through some chorus / flanger (then make sure the 808 is in mono) for some crazy change
@NavieD4 жыл бұрын
True indeed, chorus effect also helps create those types of disruptions in the wave form. When you make 808s, which synth do you prefer to use?

@@NavieD I usually use sytrus, (you can really create any waveform you want with this synht) or 3xOsc sometimes

@NavieD4 жыл бұрын
@@lucw5968 ahhh yeah, I like the UI in biohazard since it lets you experiment and layer and stuff natively in the plugin. I'm thinking of doing a video on different plugins and which are best for 808s

@@NavieD I don't think there a better synth for 808, you can make one from every synth that can create a sine wave the choice of the effect that you add after will make the difference
