Great story at the end. My collection consists of almost all single issues thought I did recently preorder my first omnibus. Your tip 9 really resonates with me. I have sold some books but I always struggle with the decision to sell, even if I’m not a huge fan of the book. If I have doubts about selling it I usually choose to wait. I never pay a lot for the books I buy so I’d rather hold onto it knowing I didn’t spend much than sell it and then regret it later. Thanks for sharing,

@@MaddoggComics I ordered the Inferno omnibus. I have most of the single issues that make up the event but it was one of the first big crossover stories from when I was starting to collect and thought it would be cool to have it in a nice collected edition.

Good tips. People new to the game need this info, don't let the industry take advantage of you and your books. My best sell I think was I found both Absolute Final Crisis and Absolute Sinestro Corps War for $30 each on a aftermarket site, and they went OOP quick, so once I had read them and needed some money during a rough patch, sold them both for over cover.

This video is a nice timely reminder that I have a stack of books building up that I intend to sell, but can't bring myself to go through the stress of it all! I find selling really stressful because I've heard all the horror stories. Every time I've sold anything so far it's been fine, I just have a lot going on right now and any extra stress is most definitely not welcome! I really could do with the money though, I've been buying quite a lot of books recently... But for me, it's never the right time to sell! :P Great video Dogg, some super useful info in here!

My "biggest" sale till now was the (Red) Hulk floppies #1-20 for 150€ (paid around 20€ for all of them) till the next one.. ;) Paired with the #1-15 Of Zdarsky's DD (kinda regret those but i m gonna buy the hc)😋 Sum was around 220€ i m not in the business of selling much anyway,just some excess stuff but i have sold maybe around 500€worth till now Woof woof!!always diversifying content!👌🔟

My best sell was couple years ago with the Hulk omnibus vol.1 I read it thought it was pretty shit so put it up for auction for I believe £50 ish and it sold for around £180 the book was a pure impulse but as it was OOP and I was glad to get it of the shelf

I haven't sold any books yet as I'm still pretty new to comics, but I did recently find a brand new copy of the TPB of Frank Miller's Daredevil Volume 2 for $15. They generally go for around $50 from what I can tell, so it felt like a steal.

What packaging do you use to send the books out? I actually own ultimate fallout 4 but my gut told me to hang onto it. Waiting for the mcu film to come out( we all know its coming eventually) and probably will sell it then. Although i have seen it go for £150+ already on ebay. Makes my £3.50 i paid for it seem good value😄
