Howdy beautiful family! That drone work was outstanding. When I was married, I went to AK to visit my husband's family during the 4th Of July, and it never really got dark like you folks say. We did some epic adventures: Went deep sea fishing in Steward, went to Alyeska and ate and watched them paraglide off the mountain, hiked the Exit Glacier, and also the Alaska Zoo, rode mountain bikes all around Anchorage, but we got stopped in our tracks because of Moose, they are aggressive. So many wonderful, welcoming people there, I can't wait to return and see the Northern lights. Have a blessed day!

I am from Alberta, Canada and we have mountains and glaciers so for me, my favorite destination in our two trips to Alaska, has to be Homer Spit and Seward a close second! Love the combination of mountains, glaciers and ocean! For us, Alaska is not only beautiful scenery, it is the indescribable feeling one gets experiencing the enormity of the vastly untouched wilderness. Impossible to put into words.

Oh boy, what I enjoyed the most seeing-when I was about 8 1/2 months pregnant I got the sudden urge to go flying. Now, mind you, I really didn't like flying in our small Cessna but my husband jumped on the chance. It was a gorgeous, beautiful day in late July. We flew over the mouth of the Egegik River and Naknek river and lo and behold there was about 400 Beluga Whales swimming upriver a bit and eating the fish. It was a glorious sight and a blessing just before our son was born. I have never forgotten that day. I would like to come back to Alaska and play tourist (sorta) someday. Never got to see Denali or just drive around to see the pretty part of Alaska. I would love to do that.

We spent most of June in Alaska in 2017 and my favorite tourist activity were the two sight-seeing flights we took. First we flew from Fairbanks to Coldfoot then rode a sightseeing bus back from Coldfoot to the airport. Later we flew out of Haynes, Alaska and flew over the beautiful glaciers and saw the view from the air. It was an unforgettable experience!!

I went on a cruise to Alaska years ago in August. The air was the best thing ever- we had a super hot summer and that was the first time I felt like I could breathe! Plus taking a helicopter to a glacier in Juneau was spectacular!! I’ve honestly never heard of anyone disliking Alaska!! 🤗❄️

Thank you so much for this awesome vlog! The drone footage especially was so beautiful and well done. The music included. I have never seen a glacier like that. Always think of them floating in the ocean. Glad you got there and back safely and that the mosquitoes weren't too bad. You guys have such a wonderful way of showing the beauties of Alaska and also everyday life in Alaska. To answer Bert's question, I have not been doing that great. In Illinois we are reopening very slowly. With everything else going on in the world it has been challenging to handle it all emotionally. Just have to keep praying and putting one foot in front of the other I suppose. Your vlogs really help during these times.

Had to add a note: the aerial drone shots with the panorama of the mountains in the background as you were hiking along the rushing river sooooo reminded me of scenes from The Lord of the Rings movie, when the intrepid brothers-in-arms were making their way to near certain death (to quote Gimli). Even the music background evoked the imagery. What would I love to see in Alaska? A MOOSE!! I've NEVER seen a "for real" moose, not even in a zoo. I've actually seen a grizzly or brown bear in New Mexico, you know, the kind that stands upright and is about 9 feet tall? Saw one at Sunspot in NM. We talked to a ranger at Sunspot and he told us the bears were actually tracked this far south and that there were about 100 tagged in the state. That was pretty nifty! But I'd love to see a great big moose.

The 1st time it was our honeymoon and we enjoyed the local folk and eating with locals. Plus my husband was a pig farmer at the time and we thought it fun that a segment of the Alaskan pipeline has "pigs" in it. The second time we went was when our son was 15 and he saw all the beautiful things that we did. I would love to come again and visit the Iditarod!! We hit all of the non tourist spots as we could possibly get too!! I have always wanted to live in Alaska since I was 12. It hasn't been in the Lord's will for me yet. Maybe i might get the amazing and wonderful privilege to retire in AK Land of the Midnight Sun!! I would love to see Barrow (don't remember it's Native name) oneday as well!! I think everyone who made fun of Senator Seward should be embarrassed today!!!!

My mom and I went on a cruise a little over two years ago. we got to touch a glacier and see the beautiful waterfalls caused by the glacier melting. Best curies we have taken (out of 5). I got to see a humpback breach and loved every second on the excursion watching the whales, and when sea life animals were around the ship. Best part of the trips was all the wild life around the cruise ship and the waterfalls.

Cross it and go about 2-3 miles.

I have been to Alaska and we seen so many amazing beautiful things it is hard to pick just 1. We stayed in Wasilla and traveled from there to Seward and Homer we also spent some time in Talkeetna we drove north to Denali. We did the Denali park tour. It was an event of a lifetime I must say. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the fires. The smoke prevented us from seeing Denali very good and Homer was very Smokey as well. All in all we had an amazing time and we are considering another vacation there in the coming years. Alaska is so beautiful. Love the fireweed flowers they are so beautiful.
